This study investigated two digestion methods (USEPA 3051: microwave, HNO3 or Hossner: hot plate, HF–H2SO4–HClO4) for heavy metals analysis in contaminated soil surrounding Mahad AD'Dahab mine, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, contamination metal levels were estimated. The Hossner and USEPA 3051 methods showed, respectively, average total contents of 17.2 and 18.1 mg kg?1 for Cd, 11.6 and 10.6 mg kg?1 for Co, 45.7 and 34.7 mg kg?1 for Cr, 1030 and 1100 mg kg?1 for Cu, 33,300 and 27,400 mg kg?1 for Fe, 963 and 872 mg kg?1 for Mn, 33.2 and 22.8 mg kg?1 for Ni, 791 and 782 mg kg?1for Pb, and 6320 and 2870 mg kg?1 for Zn. A lack of significant differences and a high correlation coefficient (>90%) for Cd, Pb and Cu between the two digestion methods suggest that the total-recoverable method (USEPA 3051) may be equivalent to the total-total digestion method (Hossner) for determining these metals in the studied soil. However, significantly higher concentrations of Cr, Fe, Ni and Zn were found by the Hossner method comapred with the USEPA 3051 method. The soil samples have very or extremely high levels of Zn, Cu, Cd and Pb contamination, indicating very high potential ecological risk.  相似文献

Primary surveys were conducted in 20 villages and an equal number of community managed forests (CMFs) of two districts, Adilabad and Chittoor in the state of Andhra Pradesh in southern India. The interviews conducted with 216 respondents listed a total of 22 and 23 non-timber forest products (NTFP) from Adilabad and Chittoor districts, respectively, of which 15 species were common to both study districts. Eight of these NTFPs, including, Sterculia urens, Thysanolena maxima, Sapindus emerginatus, Dendrocalamus strictus, Pongamia pinnata, Schleichera oleosa, Azadirachta indica and Diospyros melenoxylon were collected for commercial purposes. The vegetation survey was conducted in a total of 240 sample plots in 20 CMFs, and found 15 NTFP species from Adilabad and 18 NTFP species from Chittoor. The density of NTFP trees in Adilabad was 52 trees/ha, as against an overall tree density of 278 trees/ha, while in Chittoor it was only 28 trees/ha as against an overall density of 110 trees/ha. The regeneration density of NTFP species was, however, higher in Chittoor. Some of the NTFP species, prioritized for conservation, included Sterculia urens, Tamarindus indica, Phyllanthus emblica, Strychnos nuxvomica, S. potatorum and Anogeissus latifolia.  相似文献

利用能精确捕获水自由液面的VOF (Volume of fluid,体积百分比)法,建立挥发性化合物在无化学反应条件下的耦合扩散时空模型. 用W*(分子拓扑指数)表征化合物分子结构,将化合物传质系数——Schmid数与W*进行关联,结合亨利常数、Schmidt数与W*的关联式,预测乙醇、苯、己醛与2,2,4-三甲基戊点源泄漏后的质量浓度时空分布,预测结果与试验吻合较好. 烷基苯、醇、醛、烃类化合物的Schmidt数与W*0.25成线性关系. Schmidt数随分子间距减小而增大,烷基苯、醇、醛、烃类化合物在水中的Schmidt数约为空气中的600倍以上. 相同W*的化合物,Schmidt数随分子量增加而增大. 泄漏初期,亨利常数的作用高于Schmidt数,挥发强度随亨利常数的增加而增大,水中乙醇峰值浓度下降的平均速率仅是苯的45.1%;泄漏后期,Schmidt数起主要作用,挥发强度随Schmidt数减少而增大,苯的峰值浓度下降平均速率降低,乙醇峰值浓度下降平均速率比苯高120.0%. 己醛的W*是2,2,4-三甲基戊的16.27倍,但二者的亨利常数和Schmidt数很接近,挥发迁移过程极其相似.   相似文献

Monitoring responses by birds to restoration of riparian vegetation is relatively cost-effective, but in most assessments species-specific abundances, not demography, are monitored. Data on birds collected during the nonbreeding season are particularly lacking. We captured birds in mist nets and resighted banded birds to estimate species richness and diversity, abundance, demographic indexes, and site-level persistence of permanent-resident and overwintering migrants in remnant and restored riparian sites in California. Species richness in riparian remnants was significantly higher than in restored sites because abundances of uncommon permanent residents were greater in remnants. Species richness of overwintering migrants did not differ between remnants and restored sites. Responses among overwintering migrants (but not permanent residents) to remnant and restored riparian sites differed. Capture rates were higher in remnant or restored riparian sites for 7 of 10 overwintering migratory species. For Lincoln's Sparrows (Melospiza lincolnii) and White-crowned Sparrows (Zonotrichia leucophrys) proportions of older birds were significantly higher in remnants, even though capture rates of these species were higher in restored sites. Overwinter persistence of 4 migrant species was significantly higher in remnant than in restored sites. A higher proportion of Hermit Thrushes (Catharus guttatus, 56.3%), older Fox Sparrows (Passerella iliaca, 57.1%), Lincoln's Sparrows (59.7%), and White-crowned Sparrows (67.8%) persisted in remnants than restored sites. Our results suggest restored riparian sites provide habitat for a wide variety of species in comparable abundances and diversity as occurs in remnant riparian sites. Our demographic and persistence data showed that remnants supported some species and age classes to a greater extent than restored sites.  相似文献

京隆发电公司脱硫系统运行过程中经常发生GGH换热元件结垢和堵塞现象,分析了GGH结垢和堵塞的原因,主要包括除雾器除雾效率差;脱硫系统水平衡设计不合理;除雾器冲洗水系统故障、设计不当或冲洗不足;吸收塔补充石灰石浆液量过大;GGH换热元件波形板或GGH换热面高度设计不合理;吹灰系统设计不合理;氧化风量不足;吸收塔液位长时间保持在高液位、消泡剂添加不足;燃煤硫分的变化及吸收剂品质不好等。提出了防治措施,较好地解决了GGH换热元件结垢和堵塞的问题。  相似文献

随着我国经济的迅猛发展,以煤炭为主的能源消耗大幅攀升,大气中的污染物SO2含量越来越高。为了保护环境,我国政府对SO2排放总量的控制主要采取加大产业调整力度,加快淘汰落后产能,积极推进先进的SO2治理工艺。其中活性炭法脱硫技术被认为是极具开发前景的烟气脱硫技术,该技术的采用材料活性炭来源广泛,工艺过程无二次污染产生且可进一步回收硫资源,用过的活性炭也可再生并循环利用。该技术的研究应用符合我国国情的发展,具有一定的现实意义。阐述了活性炭用于烟气脱硫方面的机理及研究现状,并总结了存在的问题以及最新研究应用的实例。  相似文献

为发展富硒水稻种植和巩固脱贫成果,在广西都安县百旺镇开展水稻种植区地球化学调查,采集21件岩石和193件水稻根系土-籽实协同调查样品,利用统计学和相关分析方法研究水田土壤硒的分布特征和影响因素.结果表明,百旺镇水田土壤和水稻籽实富硒率分别为67.4%和64.8%,但富硒土壤和富硒水稻籽实样品中镉含量普遍较高;对比显示百旺镇南部种植区水稻籽实富硒率达到61.1%,重金属风险低,发展无污染富硒水稻种植优势明显.相关分析表明次生富集作用是研究区土壤富硒的主要原因,根系土pH和质地不同程度影响土壤硒含量;水稻籽实硒含量主要受根系土硒含量、有效硒含量、pH和Al2O3等影响.镉膳食暴露风险评估显示研究区水稻整体安全,但中部区域水稻膳食暴露风险较高.  相似文献

植被主要通过叶片气孔吸收大气气态单质汞,森林植被是大气汞重要的汇.量化森林生物质汞库对了解全球汞循环至关重要.为揭示森林乔木层(乔木层分为树干、树叶、树枝、树根和树皮)、灌木层、草本层和凋落物层(凋落物层分为未分解层(Oi)、半分解层(Oe)和已分解层(Oa))汞含量和汞库分配,本研究选取黑龙江省凉水自然保护区小兴安岭原始林阔叶红松林、次生原始林云冷杉林和次生原始林白桦林3种原始林开展植物和凋落物汞含量和汞库调查.结果表明,乔木层各组织中汞含量遵循树皮 > 树叶 > 树枝 > 树根 > 树干的规律,云冷杉林乔木层汞含量总体上高于阔叶红松林及白桦林乔木层汞含量.凋落物中汞含量排序为Oa > Oe > Oi,原始林阔叶红松林凋落物汞含量高于次生原始林白桦林凋落物汞含量,但低于次生原始林云冷杉林凋落物汞含量.进一步估算生物质总汞库发现云冷杉林、阔叶红松林和白桦林分别为212、192和163 μg·m-2.乔木层地上部分是森林生物质汞库的主体,其树皮汞库占总汞库的37.4%~43.5%,灌木层和草本层仅占总汞库的1%左右.本研究可为进一步评估森林生态系统在大气汞循环中的作用及预测森林火灾发生时生物质燃烧汞释放潜势提供基础数据.  相似文献

Screening for Down's Syndrome has been shown to be effective at 10 weeks of pregnancy. A multicentre study (the First trimester serum screening study) has shown that there are two biochemical markers of choice at this time in pregnancy, namely pregnancy associated placental protein A (PAPP-A) and the free β-sub-unit of human chorionic gonadotrophin (free β-hCG). When used together with maternal age these two biochemical markers have an estimated detection rate of 62% and a 5% false-positive rate. The results are consistent with those obtained from a systematic review of the world literature. Other markers are less predictive of Down's syndrome though there is still some uncertainty over the value of dimeric inhibin-A at 10 weeks of pregnancy. Nuchal translucency measurement, from an ultrasound examination performed at about 10 weeks of pregnancy, is associated with Down's syndrome and is emerging as an important potential screening marker. At present there is uncertainty over its quantitative performance and performance when combined with biochemical markers. The resolution of these issues is currently the subject of active research. Ten week screening for Down's syndrome is an advance that is now technically possible though there is still insufficient information to justify its use in routine screening practice.  相似文献

选择黔南峰丛洼地区的茂兰自然保护区的坡格森林洼地典型小流域,进行了泥沙堆积的137Cs示踪研究。(1)坡格森林洼地底部的土壤剖面属于农耕地剖面。(2)受岩土分布、微地形和土壤异质性的影响,137Cs初始沉降后的再分布不均匀,137Cs面积活度变异系数为1.54。相同组成特征的地块内部样点137Cs面积活度变异系数变化为0.36~0.54,变异相对较小。但137Cs面积活度不能表征土壤侵蚀状况。(3)典型沉积剖面B-1的单一137Cs峰值浓度出现在14~16cm,高浓度137Cs均匀分布深度小于当地犁耕层厚度20cm,说明1963年以来坡格森林洼地的堆积速率接近于0。  相似文献
