Abstract

In many studies, ergonomics has been shown to influence human performance. The aim of this paper was to demonstrate imp ortan t ergonomics influences on quality in industrial production, from the perspective of interactions between humans, technology, organization, and work environment. A second aim was to elab orate on the implications of these findings for the development of quality management strategies. This paper shows that ergonomics problems in terms of adverse work environmental conditions, in appropriate design of technology, and an unsuitable org an izatio n are important causes of quality deficiencies. Problem solving aimed at improving ergonomics, quality, and productivity simultaneously is likely to obtain sup po rt from most of the interest parties of the company, and may also enhance participation. Ergonomics has the potential of becoming a driving force for the development of new quality management strategies.  相似文献

This article contains the results of research into the impact of implementation of the requirements mentioned in Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 to reduce the number of injuries at work and the financial costs incurred in this way. The study was conducted on a determined sample by a written questionnaire survey method in the Republic of Croatia. The objective of the empirical research is to determine the impact of implementation of the requirements of Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 to reduce the number of injuries at work and financial costs in Croatia in business organizations that implement these requirements. To provide a broader picture, the research included the collection and analysis of data on the impact of the Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 on accidents and fatalities at work. Research findings are based on the analysis of performed statistical data where correlation and regression analysis has been applied.  相似文献

康苏风化煤对荒漠盐渍土的改良效果分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
通过盆栽试验比较了施用不同剂量的康苏风化煤(0%、2%、4%、6%、8%、10%)对荒漠盐渍土改良的效果和对小麦生长的影响。结果表明,康苏风化煤能降低盐渍土壤的pH值,增加土壤中有机质、全氮、速效氮和速效磷等的含量;小麦根系长度、株高和地上部分的生物量均有增加,其中4%、6%风化煤处理区为最佳,其根系长度、根鲜重、干重、高生长、地上部分鲜重、干重依次比对照增加58%、74%、89%、60%、73%和77%;各处理中以施入4%、6%风化煤的改良及对小麦生长效果较好。  相似文献

环境统计是我国各级环保部门的重要职能之一,是环境管理的基础工作。目前基层环保部门的环境统计工作在运行机制、法制建设、人员设备、技术方法等方面都存在诸多问题。造成问题的主要原因,一是执法力度不够,二是能力建设不够。为了使逐级上报汇总的环境统计数据尽可能保证真实性和准确性,满足各级环保部门环境管理工作的需要,环境统计工作应逐步理顺运行机制、提高工作效率,加强法制建设、保证统计质量。在能力建设方面应加强资金投入和人员配备,完善技术方法和增加业务培训,使环境统计工作能够顺利开展并发挥应有的作用。  相似文献

利用建立生态定位观测场,对华西雨屏区洪雅县低山区退耕还林中的桦木+扁穗牛鞭草、苦竹+扁穗牛鞭草、纯扁穗牛鞭草和撑绿杂交竹+扁穗牛鞭草4种林(竹)草植被类型进行定位观测,研究不同植被恢复类型对土壤物理特性的改良。试验结果表明:林(竹)草不同植被类型植被恢复5年后,土壤0~40 cm土层的砂粒和粗粉粒百分含量均有一定的下降,在一定程度上逆转了原坡耕地土壤继续“粗化”的趋势;4种植被恢复类型土壤0~40 cm土层的物理性粘粒含量与农耕地相比均有一定提高,在一定程度上增强了固持土壤养分的能力,以苦竹+扁穗牛鞭草改良效果最好;与农耕地相比,4种植被恢复类型土壤0~40 cm土层土壤容重有增有减,以苦竹+扁穗牛鞭草和撑绿杂交竹+扁穗牛鞭草植被恢复类型改良效果相对较优;虽然除纯牛鞭草地外其它3种植被恢复类型土壤0~40 cm的总孔隙度与农耕地相比都有一定程度的增加,但土壤总孔隙度都偏小,非毛管孔隙/毛管孔隙值也不合理。可见土壤结构的改良并非退耕后植被恢复短期内就能实现的,还需长时间的植被保护、合理的经营。〖  相似文献

This essay examines zoos as a site of struggle in the construction of meanings and memories of human–nature relations. Modern zoos are symbols of imperial power and celebrations of the domination of nature. The grafting of “tropic worlds” onto these monuments of modernity renders the meaning of zoos more ambiguous, reflecting discursive struggles over the meaning of nature, questions about the wisdom of development and progress, recognition of the need for conservation and preservation, and nostalgia for a nature that has been lost. Through a close textual reading of “The Rainforest” at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, this essay explores the simulation of nature in zoos and “tropic worlds” in North American cities. These hyperreal spaces contain an extraordinary amount of the history and politics of the culture that constructs them for fascination, edification, conservation, commodification, and salvation. At stake in these simulated natures is not only the constructions of nature as spectacle and animals as commodities, but also the use of knowledge to maintain certain forms of domination and the “writing” of industrial culture's historical memory of nature and human–nature relations.  相似文献

针对目前旅游购物市场存在的诸多问题,学者们提出了很多的措施,但对哪一种措施更有效却缺乏研究.以博弈论作为研究工具,通过在信息不完全状况下对旅游购物市场进行博弈分析,找出了其均衡解,得出了在信息不完全的状况下,旅游购物市场上必然会充斥大量劣质品的结论.再运用博弈论方法对旅游购物市场的两种转型升级策略进行了分析,探讨了在这两种转型升级策略下,旅游购物市场条件得到不同的改善.建议加强市场监督措施,使其更易于实施,效率更高;建立广泛的多部门综合执法的网络;鼓励大众监督.  相似文献

Introduction

Highway crash occurrence is a leading cause of unnatural deaths, and highway agencies continually seek to identify engineering measures to reduce crashes and to assess the efficacy of such measures. Most past studies on the effectiveness of roadway improvements in terms of crash reduction considered all rural two-lane sections as a single category of roads. However, it may be hypothesized that the differences in the mobility and accessibility characteristics that are reflected in (and due to) the different design standards between different functional subclasses in the rural two-lane highway system can lead to differences in efficacies of safety improvements at these subclasses. This paper investigates the efficacy of roadway improvements, in terms of crash reduction, at the various subclasses of rural two-lane highways.

Methods

An empirical analysis of safety performance at each of the three subclasses of rural two-lane highways was carried out using the negative binomial modeling technique. For each subclass, crash prediction models were developed separately for the three levels of crash severity: property-damage only, injury, and fatal/injury. The crash factors that were considered include lane width, shoulder width, pavement surface friction, pavement condition, and horizontal and vertical alignments. After having developed the safety performance functions, the effectiveness (in terms of the extent of crash reduction, for different levels of crash severity) of highway safety enhancements at each highway subclass were determined using the theoretical concepts established in past literature. These enhancements include widening lanes, widening shoulders, enhancing pavement surface friction, and improving the vertical or horizontal alignment.

Results and Conclusion

The study found that there is empirical evidence to justify the decomposition of the family of rural two-lane roads into its constituent subclasses for purposes of analyzing the effectiveness of safety enhancement projects and thus to avoid underestimation or overestimation of benefits of safety improvements at this class of highways.  相似文献
