Blood level of calcium fractions (ionized and bound), phosphates, magnesium and albumin were measured in non‐insulin dependent diabetic patients (NIDD). Results were compared with healthy controls to elucidate the pathogenesis of probable changes of these elements. Total ionized calcium and magnesium showed significant decrease (p<0.001, p<0.05 and p<0.05) respectively. Phosphates showed non‐significant decrease while albumin reported nearly similar results. Positive correlation between inorganic phosphates and ionized calcium (r = 0.48, p<0.05) was observed only in healthy control group, not in diabetics. This may be attributed to alteration of ions excretions under diabetic condition through unknown mechanism. Additive increase of heparin sodium units in vitro to normal blood resulted in progressive fall in ionized calcium. Significant decrease was only observed upon addition of higher unit (5IU/ml). This must be taken into consideration biochemically for plasma determination of ionized calcium. 相似文献

为进一步提高湖泊总悬浮颗粒物浓度遥感反演的准确性,引进适应复杂非线性映射的RBF神经网络模型,以鄱阳湖通江湖体为例进行了实证分析,根据实测水体悬浮颗粒物浓度和MODIS遥感数据,对遥感数据进行预处理,建立了RBF神经网络悬浮颗粒物浓度反演模型,神经元个数为8个,误差性能目标值为0.001,对悬浮颗粒物浓度进行反演。研究结果表明,验证样本相关系数R2=0.956 8,均方根误差RMSE=0.54。利用神经网络模型反演水悬浮颗粒物浓度是有效的,其反演结果优于非线性回归模型的结果。 相似文献

复杂河湖系统的总量控制需考虑河湖双重控制目标,以太湖西北部竺山湾流域为研究对象,运用排污系数法计算了区域内的入河污染负荷;构建了一维河网和二维湖体水环境数学模型,对水环境数学模型进行了率定;基于多重目标的河网水环境容量计算方法,计算了河网水环境容量,并分配至各控制单元;定量分析了各控制单元各污染物总量达标情况下的削减量及削减率。结果表明:竺山湾流域COD削减量为834.4 t,削减率为13.8%;氨氮削减量为226.1 t,削减率为36.5%;总氮削减量为724.8 t,削减率为55.2%;总磷削减量为108.9 t,削减率为73.4%。论文成果对于开展竺山湾流域污染物总量控制和水环境保护具有重要指导意义,同时为类似的河湖系统水污染物总量控制提供借鉴。 相似文献

Chlorinated paraffins (CPs) are toxic, bioaccumulative, persistent, and ubiquitously present in the environment. CPs were analyzed in humus and needle samples, which were taken within the Monitoring Network in the Alpine Region for Persistent and other Organic Pollutants (MONARPOP) at sampling sites of 7 different altitude profiles in the Alps. Gas chromatography combined with electron ionization tandem mass spectrometry (EI-MS/MS) was used for the determination of total CPs (sum of short, medium and long chain CPs). CPs were found in all samples; the concentrations varied between 7 and 199 ng g−1 dry weight (dw) and within 26 and 460 ng g−1 dw in humus and needle samples, respectively. A clear vertical tendency within the individual altitude profiles could not be ascertained. Within all altitude profiles, elevated concentrations were observed in humus samples taken between 700 and 900 m and between 1300 and 1500 m. Fallout 137Cs has been widely used to determine floodplain sedimentation rates in temperate environments, particularly in the northern hemisphere. Its application in low fallout, tropical environments in the southern hemisphere has been limited. In this study we assess the utility of 137Cs for determining rates of floodplain sedimentation in a dry-tropical catchment in central Queensland, Australia. Floodplain and reference site cores were analysed in two centimetre increments, depth profiles were produced and total 137Cs inventories calculated from the detailed profile data. Information on the rates of 137Cs migration through local soils was obtained from the reference site soil cores. This data was used in an advection–diffusion model to account of 137Cs mobility in floodplain sediment cores. This allowed sedimentation rates to be determined without the first year of detection for 137Cs being known and without having to assume that 137Cs remains immobile following deposition. Caesium-137 depth profiles in this environment are demonstrated to be an effective way of determining floodplain sedimentation rates. The total 137Cs inventory approach was found to be less successful, with only one of the three sites analysed being in unequivocal agreement with the depth profile results. The input of sediment from catchment sources that have little, or no, 137Cs attached results in true depositional sites having total inventories that are not significantly different from those of undisturbed reference sites. 相似文献

Total annual nutrient loads are a function of both watershed characteristics and the magnitude of nutrient mobilizing events.
We investigated linkages among land cover, discharge and total phosphorus (TP) concentrations, and loads in 25 Kansas streams.
Stream monitoring locations were selected from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment stream chemistry long-term
monitoring network sites at or near U.S. Geological Survey stream gauges. We linked each sample with concurrent discharge
data to improve our ability to estimate TP concentrations and loads across the full range of possible flow conditions. Median
TP concentration was strongly linked (R
2 = 76%) to the presence of cropland in the riparian zones of the mostly perennial streams. At baseflow, discharge data did
not improve prediction of TP, but at high flows discharge was strongly linked to concentration (a threshold response occurred).
Our data suggest that on average 88% of the total load occurred during the 10% of the time with the greatest discharge. Modeled
reductions in peak discharges, representing increased hydrologic retention, predicted greater decreases in total annual loads
than reductions of ambient concentrations because high discharge and elevated phosphorus concentrations had multiplicative
effects. No measure of land use provided significant predictive power for concentrations when discharge was elevated or for
concentration rise rates under increasing discharge. These results suggest that reductions of baseflow concentrations of TP
in streams without wastewater dischargers may be managed by reductions of cropland uses in the riparian corridor. Additional
measures may be needed to manage TP annual loads, due to the large percentage of the TP load occurring during a few high-flow
