The effects of chronic exposure to petroleum on hematological parameters as well as the possible protective role of vitamins E and C were studied. The hematological parameters assessed were red blood cell (RBC) counts, hematocrit, hemoglobin concentration, and white blood cell (WBC) counts. The RBC and hemoglobin concentration were significantly decreased in the blood of petroleum-fed rabbits. However, there was a significant increase in WBC in rabbits exposed to crude-oil-contaminated feed. Pretreatment with the antioxidant vitamins E and C restored these parameters to normal.  相似文献

生物铁法是一种新型的强化活性污泥法,处理高浓度、难生物降解维生素B1生产废水具有很大的优势.当进水COD浓度维持在8000 mg/L时,COD的去除率可达94%以上,比普通活性污泥法高出9.7%.生物铁法污泥絮凝沉淀效果好,能保证系统有较高浓度的回流污泥,从而使曝气池的污泥浓度得到提高,COD的去除率也会相应地提高.  相似文献

将维生素c(Vc)作为共代谢一级基质用于苯胺废水的好氧处理,考察了Vc与苯胺质量比、曝气时间、反应温度对苯胺废水处理效果的影响。在苯胺质量浓度为80mg/L、污泥沉降比(SV30)为10%~15%、Vc与苯胺质量比为1:6、曝气时间为16h、反应温度为30℃的条件下,苯胺去除率最高达99.98%;当苯胺质量浓度为800mg/L时,在常温下连续曝气26h,苯胺去除率为99.99%,达到GB8978—1996《污水综合排放标准》一级排放标准(1mg/L)。  相似文献

以氧化葡萄糖酸杆菌和巨大芽孢杆菌混合培养物的无细胞抽提液为基本反应液,在试管中建立了Vc二步发酵离体实验系统,将底物山梨糖加入反应体系后在pH7.0,35℃下保温24h,2-酮基-L-古龙酸生成,加入巨大芽孢杆菌胞外活性物质对离体系统的产酸没有影响,一定量的L-山梨糖脱氢酶可促进产酸,试验了pH、θ/℃、金属离子、电子受体、去污剂等对该系统产酸的影响,并就其作用机理进行了探讨,结果表明离体系统产酸的最适pH和θ/℃分别是8和.40℃,Fe^3 促进产酸,Co^2 抑制产酸2,6-二氯酚定酚作为电子受体促进细胞膜组分产酸,但对细胞质组分没有影响,Triton X-100和Tween80抑制产酸。  相似文献

Abstract

Acrylamide is a highly soluble and widely produced industrial chemical that has been shown to pose numerous health hazards. This study aimed to assess the effects of acrylamide on the cytotoxicity and oxidative damage in embryonic fibroblast cells (BALB/c 3T3) and to measure protective roles of the natural antioxidants vitamin C and curcumin. Embryonic fibroblast cells were exposed to acrylamide at concentrations of 1, 10, 100, and 1000?μmol/L and vitamin C (50?μmol/L) or curcumin (2.5?μmol/L) for 24?h. Cell viability, cytotoxicity, the activities of antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase, glutathione-S-transferase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase, and the markers of oxidative lipid peroxidation, hydroxyl radical, hydrogen peroxide and glutathione were measured. Co-treatment of the acrylamide-exposed fibroblast cells with vitamin C or curcumin attenuated the cytotoxicity and formation of reactive oxygen species and decreased the antioxidant enzyme activity. Thus, it was concluded that vitamin C and curcumin may play a protective role against acrylamide toxicity; the treatment with 50?μmol/L vitamin C was found to be more effective than the treatment with 2.5?μmol/L curcumin.  相似文献

维生素E在动物细胞内具有抗氧化等重要作用,但在植物体内的功能却鲜为人知.本实验利用CaMV35S启动子与来源于拟南芥的编码生育酚环化酶(TC)的cDNA(VTE1)构建的嵌合表达载体,以根癌农杆菌介导的叶盘法转化烟草W38.实验结果表明,具有卡那霉素抗性的再生植株经RT-PCR检测,得到了与阳性对照一致的495bp的目标片段;转基因植株的VE含量比对照植株高2倍左右,个别株系高达11倍.实验还发现,在耐盐性实验中转基因植株对盐的抗性明显高于野生型烟草;同时,在不同盐浓度(150、250mmol/L)胁迫下转基因植株VE含量比未转化植株增加了1.3~1.8倍,首次证明VTE1与植物耐盐性之间的关系.图7参30  相似文献

针对工业废水难生物降解的问题,综述了通过添加微量营养物质影响活性污泥法处理难降解工业废水效果的研究进展,介绍了微量营养物质的分类,总结了微量金属元素和维生素等不同种类微量营养物质及其适宜浓度对微生物生长的作用以及对污泥法处理难降解工业废水效果的影响。指出:补充必要的微量营养物质是提高难降解工业废水处理效果的可行的优化策略,但是需要针对工业废水可生化性和营养需求的特点有的放矢地进行补充;另外需要对各种微量营养物质促进污染物降解的代谢途径进行研究。  相似文献

Potassium bromate (KBrO3) is a widely used food additive, a water disinfection by-product and a known nephrotoxic agent. The effect of KBrO3 on rat blood, especially on the anti-oxidant defense system, was studied in this work. Animals were given a single oral dose of KBrO3 (100 mg/kg body weight) and sacrificed 12, 24, 48, 96 and 168 h after this treatment. Blood was collected from the animals and separated into plasma and erythrocytes. KBrO3 administration resulted in increased lipid peroxidation, protein oxidation, hydrogen peroxide levels and decreased the reduced glutathione content indicating the induction of oxidative stress in blood. Methemoglobin levels and methemoglobin reductase activity were significantly increased while the total anti-oxidant power was greatly reduced upon KBrO3 treatment. Nitric oxide levels were enhanced while vitamin C concentration decreased in KBrO3 treated animals. The activities of major anti-oxidant enzymes were also altered upon KBrO3 treatment. The maximum changes in all these parameters were 48 h after the administration of KBrO3 and then recovery took place. These results show for the first time that KBrO3 induces oxidative stress in blood and impairs the anti-oxidant defense system. Thus impairment in the anti-oxidant power and alterations in the activities of major anti-oxidant enzymes may play an important role in mediating the toxic effects of KBrO3 in the rat blood. The study of such biochemical events in blood will help elucidate the molecular mechanism of action of KBrO3 and also for devising methods to overcome its toxic effects.  相似文献

采用混凝—Fenton法深度处理维生素B12废水,考察各操作参数对COD和色度去除效果的影响。实验结果表明:当混凝pH 4.5、聚合硫酸铁加入量300 mg/L、氧化pH 4.0、H2O2加入量420 mg/L、FeSO4?7H2O加入量334 mg/L、Fenton反应时间3 h时,混凝—Fenton法对维生素B12废水的深度处理效果较好,总COD和总色度的去除率分别为62.1%和90.0%;与Fenton法相比,混凝—Fenton法COD和色度去除率的提高率分别为17.4%和13.8%,且药剂成本降低了21.6%。  相似文献

采用改性矿物吸附法和O3氧化法对某制药厂维生素B12废水进行脱色处理。以废水色度去除率大于50%为目的,通过实验确定改性矿物吸附法和O3氧化法处理维生素B12废水的最佳工艺条件:废水的pH为3.00,有机化膨润土的投加量为5g/L,PAC的投加量为6g/L,投加有机化膨润土后搅拌时间为30min时,废水的色度去除率可达到51.3%,处理成本为12.85元/t。O3氧化法的最佳条件:废水的pH保持不变,O3流量为5g/h,反应时间为2min,废水的色度去除率可达到68.8%,处理成本为0.96元/t。对比这2种方法,O3氧化法处理该废水成本更低、效率更高,并且能提高废水的可生化性以便后续处理。  相似文献
