Abstract Distributions of 210Pb and 7Be in the aerosol particles of different size fractions were measured around Taiwan offshore areas from October, 1994 to October, 1995. the size distribution and abundance of the aerosol particles showed both spatial and temporal variations. the particle concentrations off northwestern Taiwan were more than twice as those off northeastern Taiwan both in November and March, and the values were much higher in November than in March for both areas. the measured particle concentrations, except for one sample with an unusually high value, ranged from 10 to 83 μOgm ?3 in the study areas. the 210Pb concentrations in the aerosol particles filtered from the air mass varied between 20 × 10?3 and 72 × 10?3 dpm m?3 (1dpm = 0.45 pCi). the 210Pb concentrations in the area off southwestern Taiwan appeared somewhat higher than in other areas and were probably contributed by the land air from Taiwan which contains higher 210Pb in winter. the 210Pb concentrations off northern Taiwan were low in November when the aerosol concentrations were high, but they were high in March when the aerosol concentrations were low. Based on the 7Be monitoring records of 20 years on the aerosol particles of the island by the Taiwan Radiation Monitoring Center, the mean settling rate averaged 0.91, 0.79 and 0.68 cm s?1, respectively, in northern, central and southern Taiwan. with these values and the 210Pb concentrations in the aerosols, the 210Pb flux was determined to be between 0.58 and 2.30 dpm cm?2y?1, with an average of 1.19 dpm cm?2y?1. Excluding the highest value due to its extremely high 210Pb and aerosol concentrations, the average is reduced to 1.05 dpm cm?2y?1. the activity median diameters (AMD) for 210Pb in the study areas were between 0.69 and < 0.49 μM with a mean of 0.5 öm based on 210Pb distributions in different particle size fractions. Thus, 210Pb was preferentially adsorbed on to the submicron particles. 7Be in the study areas showed a good correlation with 210Pb in total activity although the two nucides had different sources. 相似文献

Protected areas (PAs) and payments for ecosystem services (PES) are the top two mechanisms available for countries to achieve international REDD agreements, yet there are few empirical comparisons of their effects. We estimate the impacts of PAs and PES on forest conservation, poverty reduction, and population change at the locality level in Mexico in the 2000s. Both policies conserved forest, generating an approximately 20–25% reduction in expected forest cover loss. PES created statistically significant but small poverty alleviation while PAs had overall neutral impacts on livelihoods. Estimates by individual policy type for the same level of deforestation risk indicate that biosphere reserves and PES balanced conservation and livelihood goals better than strict protected areas or mixed-use areas. This suggests that both direct and incentive-based instruments can be effective, and that policies combining sustainable financing, flexible zoning, and recognition of local economic goals are more likely to achieve conservation without harming livelihoods. 相似文献

采取野外调查与室内分析相结合的方法研究了紫色土丘陵区林地、撂荒地、水田、旱地土壤剖面(0~40 cm)有机碳、全氮变化特征.结果表明.有机碳、全氮均随土层深度增加而逐渐减小,且林地、撂荒地有机碳递减幅度高于水田、旱地.相对于撂荒地和旱地,水田、林地更利于有机碳、全氮的积累.林地有机碳和全氮在0~5 cm土层表现出绝对优势;随土层递增,与水田、撂荒地和旱地的差异逐渐减小.水田有机碳和全氮在大于10 cm土层显示最大值.而撂荒地有机碳和全氮仅在土壤表层高于旱地.有机碳与全氮存在显著正相关关系;w(C)/w(N)随土层深度增加而降低,且林地、撂荒地降低幅度较大.因此相对于水田、旱地,林地和撂荒地w(C)/w(N)仅在0~10 cm显示较大值.可见,土地利用方式对陆地生态系统碳、氮蓄积有明显影响,通过旱地还林或撂荒可以增加土壤特别是表层土壤对碳、氮的积累. 相似文献

为了研究贝类养殖对沉积物中汞的分布与不同结合态的影响,2012年5月至2013年5月在胶州湾的红岛、黄岛、胶南以及营海贝类养殖区采集55份沉积物样品,分别用冷原子吸收法和连续提取法测定其总汞及不同结合态汞的含量.研究结果表明,胶州湾贝类养殖区沉积物中总汞含量范围为0.037-0.228 mg·kg-1,其中红岛养殖区汞含量最高,超过环境背景值3.2倍.总汞含量在垂直方向上呈从底部到表层增加的趋势,且在沉积物表层富集.通过对比不同区域及不同年代胶州湾表层沉积物总汞含量,发现贝类养殖使得胶州湾养殖区沉积物汞污染程度加重.此外,沉积物中汞主要以残渣态为主,占总汞含量的31.46%,交换态与可溶态所占比例最少,仅占总汞含量的9.06%.几个养殖区域的汞污染程度依次为:红岛 > 营海 > 黄岛 > 胶南,汞的潜在生态风险因子计算结果表明,胶州湾养殖区沉积物存在中等以上的生态风险. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Sketch-map-facilitated interviews were conducted in 23 villages in two adjacent regions in the southern Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico – the Maya (and increasingly Mennonite) forest-agriculture mosaic of the Chenes, and the late-20th-century-settlement forest frontier of Calakmul – to determine the frequency and typology of local-scale reserves, including the external (e.g. Payments for Environmental Services programs) and internal sources of their generation. 9% of the study communities are found to satisfy the author’s criteria for deliberate, autochthonous reserves. The static polygon reserve and static map are found to have limited value for understanding the evolving cultural ecologies of these regions. Theoretical articles linking conservation and welfare find a negative relationship between these two variables while empirical studies show that land protection may be positively related to welfare. Several authors attribute this empirical result to the development of ecotourism in protected areas. We thus argue that the gap between the theory and existing empirical results is partly explained by the fact that most theoretical models do not account for a productive activity on protected land. Therefore, we develop a theoretical model in which conservation allows developing an alternative sector and show that the relationship between conservation and welfare is U-shaped. We test this theoretical prediction using Nepalese data and find that conservation combined with ecotourism is indeed positively related to local welfare. 相似文献

Abstract: Hunting in tropical forests is typically most intense near human settlements, and this creates gradients of decreasing animal densities toward those settlements. Within the context of this spatial pattern, we evaluated the status of game in the hunting grounds of an indigenous community in eastern Ecuador. We constructed a spatially explicit model of hunter-prey interactions that mimicked the hunting in the village and included realistic animal-dispersal rules. We compared predictions from the model with distributions of animal harvest rates and catch per unit effort of 12 game species. Six species were overharvested in part or all of the area, and two other species were probably being overharvested, although high dispersal rates complicated the interpretation. We then compared our method with methods that have been used previously. We argue that because our method provides information about the spatial extent of overharvesting, it could be particularly useful in informing decision makers about where to establish no-take areas and could therefore aid in improving the sustainability of hunting in tropical forests. 相似文献

为评估不同地区农田土壤和农产品中邻苯二甲酸酯(phthalic acid esters,PAEs)风险,在江苏、陕西、河南、河北开展土壤-农产品(蔬菜和小麦)协同采样,共采集106对土壤-农产品样品,分析了土壤-农产品中PAEs化合物含量,并对其污染分布、污染程度进行了评价。结果显示,调查区土壤样品中6种PAEs化合物总浓度(∑PAEs)范围为33.70—895.53 μg·kg−1,平均值为152.22 μg·kg−1,检出率为100%。土样中邻苯二甲酸二乙酯(diethyl phthalate, DEP)、邻苯二甲酸二正丁酯(di-n-butyl phthalate, DBP)、邻苯二甲酸丁基苄(benzyl butyl phthalate, BBP)、邻苯二甲酸(2-乙基已基)酯(di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate, DEHP)和邻苯二甲酸二正辛酯(di-n-octyl phthalate, DnOP)的检出率为100%,其中DBP、DEHP和BBP是调查区土壤中PAEs的主要组成部分,分别占∑PAEs总量的51.51%、25.74%和14.17%,三者之和占∑PAEs含量的93.1%;调查区的土壤中∑PAEs的平均含量大小顺序为陕西>江苏>河北>河南,与美国土壤6种优控的PAEs控制标准相比,DBP和邻苯二甲酸二甲酯(dimethyl phthalate,DMP)含量超过控制标准,超标率分别为18.9%和1.89%。蔬菜样品中∑PAEs含量范围为nd—241.87 μg·kg−1,平均含量为63.22 μg·kg−1,检出率为68.9%,其中DnOP和DEHP调查区蔬菜中PAEs的主要组成部分,分别占∑PAEs含量的26.27%和25.93%。基于食用农产品风险评估,调查区采集的农产品中PAEs无人体健康风险。 相似文献

基于云高仪激光雷达、飞机AMDAR数据和常规站点等多源观测数据,并与数值模拟(CAMx-PSAT模型)相结合,以京津冀典型城市——北京城区与郊区(密云)和石家庄城区与郊区(平山)为案例研究区域,对城区和郊区边界层高度差异(ΔPBLH)、地面PM2.5浓度差异(ΔSurf_PM2.5)、高空PM2.5浓度差异(ΔVert_PM2.5)和传输通量强度及高度分布特征差异进行分析.结果表明,由于人为热源、短波辐射和热力湍流等因素,导致城区年均边界层高度(PBLH)较郊区高8%~29%,且不同季节下城区PBLH月均较郊区高2%(石家庄4月)~47%(北京7月).由于人为排放、逆温和大气湍流等共同作用,在0~1260 m之间等高度城区年均ρ(PM2.5)较郊区高0.1(石家庄)~29.7(北京)μg ·m-3,随高度增加而减小.城区年均总净通量强度远大于郊区,城区表现为流出,郊区表现为流入,是由于城区低压和郊区高压,形成城郊热力环流.北京城区和郊区与周边的年均总净通量强度之和(44.77 t ·d-1)大于石家庄(34.44 t ·d-1).受风速和PM2.5浓度的影响,在0~1260 m之间,城区和郊区与周边的净通量随离地高度的增加通量强度呈现明显增大趋势,其中1月城区和4月郊区与周边的传输交换对环境影响最为明显.不同季节下城区和郊区最大净通量的强度差异明显,两者相差2.23~4.48倍;但最大净通量强度的高度特征差异较小,主要位于611~1260 m. 相似文献

山地农村居民点系统因受自然因素及人类活动等多重扰动而处于深刻转型中,探索山区农村居民点时空格局特征及其优化策略,对于优化山区国土空间格局、推进山区国土空间综合治理与乡村振兴具有重要意义。基于构建理论框架,集成运用景观格局指数法、栅格权重叠加评价法、改进蚁群算法(ACO)等,以重庆澄江镇为例,探索山区农村居民点时空格局演变特征及优化过程,提出优化调控策略。结果表明:(1)研究区农村居民点空间格局演变特征呈现集中、靠拢的演化发展趋势,总体呈现匀质、线状、向心、院落四种分布形态;同时高程、坡度、水域、城镇、道路、基础设施等自然—经济社会因素均对山区农村居民点时空格局演化产生重要影响。(2)改进蚁群算法优化后,研究区农村居民点斑块面积(CA)减少10.07%,居民点斑块数量(NP)和密度(PD)分别减少83.12%和81.16%,平均斑块面积(MPS)增加了4.3倍,平均最近邻体距离(MENN)增加了42.82%。优化后69.1%的农村居民点斑块都集中在适宜区和较适宜区内,且重点向交通便利、公共设施完善、生产便利和中心村庄集中。优化后的农村居民点空间格局更加紧凑有序,土地集约节约效率更高。(3)基于仿真优化结果,综合考虑村庄振兴“产业—人口—土地”互动耦合机制,提出城郊融合、产业集聚、景村融合、搬迁撤并四类农村居民点格局优化方案,助推山区乡村振兴。(4)优化结果同时表明改进的蚁群算法非常适用于复杂环境条件下的较小尺度要素空间布局优化,能够为山区国土空间规划编制提供技术支撑。 相似文献
