• Complete CT degradation was achieved by employing HA to CP/Fe(II)/FA process. • Quantitative detection of Fe(II) regeneration and HO• production was investigated. • Benzoic acid outcompeted FA for the reaction with HO•. • CO2 was the dominant reductive radical for CT removal. • Effects of solution matrix on CT removal were conducted. Hydroxyl radicals (HO•) show low reactivity with perchlorinated hydrocarbons, such as carbon tetrachloride (CT), in conventional Fenton reactions, therefore, the generation of reductive radicals has attracted increasing attention. This study investigated the enhancement of CT degradation by the synergistic effects of hydroxylamine (HA) and formic acid (FA) (initial [CT] = 0.13 mmol/L) in a Fe(II) activated calcium peroxide (CP) Fenton process. CT degradation increased from 56.6% to 99.9% with the addition of 0.78 mmol/L HA to the CP/Fe(II)/FA/CT process in a molar ratio of 12/6/12/1. The results also showed that the presence of HA enhanced the regeneration of Fe(II) from Fe(III), and the production of HO• increased one-fold when employing benzoic acid as the HO• probe. Additionally, FA slightly improves the production of HO•. A study of the mechanism confirmed that the carbon dioxide radical (CO2), a strong reductant generated by the reaction between FA and HO•, was the dominant radical responsible for CT degradation. Almost complete CT dechlorination was achieved in the process. The presence of humic acid and chloride ion slightly decreased CT removal, while high doses of bicarbonate and high pH inhibited CT degradation. This study helps us to better understand the synergistic roles of FA and HA for HO• and CO2 generation and the removal of perchlorinated hydrocarbons in modified Fenton systems.  相似文献

研究表明稻草改性后吸附铜离子的能力得到很大提高。在4种温度下(15、27、37、50℃),改性稻草吸附铜离子的最大吸附量分别为1.10、1.24、1.34、1.50mmol/g。不同温度下,吸附自由能△G大大小于零,吸附过程具有强烈的自发趋势。吸附焙△H和吸附熵△S都大于零,吸附过程是熵增加推动的。  相似文献

采用H2SO4和HCl改性粉煤灰,在酸改性基础上用2mol/L NaOH进行改性。对比了原状粉煤灰,酸改性粉煤灰和酸加碱改性粉煤灰分别处理氨氮废水的效果。研究了pH值、粉煤灰投加量、反应时间对处理效果的影响。对于100mg/L氨氮废水最佳处理工艺:粉煤灰投加量2g,pH 11左右,搅拌时间60 min,静置1h,其氨氮去除率可达84%。  相似文献

研究了有机改性膨润土对海水中柴油的吸附作用及其影响因素。结果表明,有机改性膨润土可以较好地吸附海水中的油,在温度为25℃、盐度33‰、振荡频率150r/min、pH为8的环境下,除油率可以达97%以上。该过程的吸附等温线符合Freundlich方程。  相似文献

The mechanical performance of rubber-modified asphalt roads depends, besides the intrinsic properties of the constituents (asphalt, rubber and gravel), on their interfaces. To improve the adhesion between constituents, two different coupling agents were required: one to link asphalt with the rubber particles to stabilize the composite creating an elastic network in the interior of the material to improve its elastic recovery, and other to increase the adhesion between the hydrophobic asphalt and the hydrophilic gravel. A phenolic resin was used to link the rubber particles with the asphalt, while a switterionic molecule (phosphatidyl-choline) was used to change the OH groups on the gravel surface by hydrocarbon chains to make it compatible with the asphalt.  相似文献

根据我国中小型城市生活污水处理的需要,改进SBR部分结构,设计出推流式SBR装置,通过试验寻找推流式SBR运行条件,验证装置对有机物降解效率,同时亦验证装置对氮、磷的脱除效果。研究表明推流式SBR工艺由于特殊的运行方式,对NH3-N和TP的去除彻底,NH3-N去除率最高达到92%,TP的去除率最高达到98.76%,TN的去除率73%,COD去除率达90%。  相似文献

The present paper deals with the location of tanks in a tank farm, in chemical and allied industries. Ideally the tanks are so placed and installed that in case of fire, the neighbouring tanks could remain safe. The safe distance of separation among the tanks is calculated in no wind condition, as well as, in the presence of wind. The paper uses the methods available in literature and modifies the point source model to include the effect of wind vector on the flame height during the calculation of safe inter-tank distance. It is found that for wind velocity > 4 m/s, the modified point source model provides appropriate inter-tank distance. However, for no wind and with wind velocity < 4 m/s, the Shokri-Beyler’s method provides safe inter-tank distance.  相似文献

79Se是高放废物地质处置安全评价中的重点关注的核素之一,如何有效地阻滞其在处置库环境中的迁移扩散是目前研究的热点。将金属盐溶液和有机溶剂与水滑石和膨润土混合制备,分别得到2种无机改性水滑石和9种不同的有机和无机改性膨润土,通过批次实验研究这些改性材料对Se(IV)的吸附性能。结果表明无机改性的水滑石和膨润土对Se(IV)均有较好的吸附,吸附率超过57%。而有机改性的膨润土吸附效果很差,吸附率低于10%。采用SEM和XRD对这些改性材料进行表征,结果表明:无机改性后的膨润土的比表面积和层间距均增大,有利于对Se(IV)的吸附。  相似文献
