发硒的动态变化与大骨节病早期病变自然修复的关系

研究表明,在自然状态下,儿童大骨节病病情的变化是以人体硒营养变化为基础的骨质病变或修复的变化。早期病变的自然修复与人体发硒含量的升高同步发生,从而为用发硒含量定量地监测和预报病情提供了客观的指标。     

二氧化硫体内衍生物诱发小鼠骨髓嗜多染红细胞微核的效应

通过微核试验证明，给小鼠腹腔注射ＳＯ２体内衍生物－亚硫酸钠和亚硫酸氢钠混合液可诱发小鼠骨髓嗜多染红细胞微核形成，导致微核细胞率显著升高，且呈明显的剂量效应关系。从整体水平证明了ＳＯ２是染色体断裂剂和基因毒性因子。     

Sorption of Cu and Zn by bone charcoal

Bone charcoal is being developed as a treatment for decontaminating polluted water. In particular, its potential to adsorb metal species from contaminated water supplies is being examined. In this study, bone charcoal was used in batch and column experiments designed to investigate the sorption of two cationic metals Cu and Zn. The data from batch experiments fitted the Langmuir isotherm and so theoretical maximum binding capacities could be obtained. These values were compared with experimental values derived from the column experiments. The mechanisms involved in the immobilisation were also investigated.     

First-trimester screening: dealing with the fall-out

The articles collected together in this issue describe first-trimester screening for a variety of complications. With the advance of both technology and research, early pregnancy screening is becoming ever more sophisticated and complex. While there are clear benefits to most women receiving early reassurance that their baby is developing as expected, there is no evidence to suggest that an earlier prenatal diagnosis has less long-term emotional impact than at later gestations. The poignancy of ultrasound images for many parents means that it can be especially difficult to manage the anxiety when an ultrasound marker is highlighted as potential cause for concern. They can then face a journey of anxiety-laden uncertainty, which can extend through much of the pregnancy, and even beyond. Professionals involved in screening need to recognise and acknowledge such adverse side-effects and develop the skills necessary to help parents understand and cope with the uncertainties inherent in the process. Thermal treatments of industrial wastes in controlled atmospheres for the elimination of As, Hg, Cd, Se and the concentration of Pb, Cu and Zn

Thermal treatments of five different types of non-ferrous metallurgical wastes, under a controlled atmosphere, were carried out at temperatures lower than 800°C for the separation of their toxic compounds and the concentration of valuable metals in the treatments residues. The best results were obtained by the treatments in air or hydrogen, or both successively. Simple treatments, using air or hydrogen, of three samples allowed the elimination of more than 95% of their toxic elements and almost doubled their valuable metals concentration. For the rest of the samples, a combined treatment was necessary for their efficient decontamination. In this case, the valuable metals content in the treatment's residue was increased to a reasonable value. Most of the solids issuing from these treatments can be recycled in current non-ferrous metallurgical processes.     

低硒土壤增施高硒石煤的实验研究

湖北省鄂西自治州恩施市为我国第一个高硒区,硒源于石煤.州内还有低硒环境并曾有克山病流行,将硒均值为100mg/kg的石煤颗粒施入低硒土壤后,作物硒及人畜内环境硒水平有明显的剂量效应关系.根据足硒区粮食、饲草及人发硒的推荐值,每公顷施石煤15×10~3-18×10~3kg为宜.此外,讨论了这一措施得以增产的可能因素和该措施可能维持有效作用的年限.     

Prenatal diagnosis of kyphomelic dysplasia

Kyphomelic dysplasia (KD) is a rare autosomal recessive entity characterized by disproportionate dwarfism with shortening and bowing of the limbs, narrow chest, 11 ribs and metaphyseal flaring. Mental development is generally normal. We report the in utero ultrasound appearances and post-mortem radiographic findings of a 22-week-old male fetus suggestive of KD. 太湖中微囊藻毒素的遗传毒性研究

应用Ames试验、小鼠骨髓嗜多染红细胞微核试验、小鼠精子畸形试验,对从太湖蓝藻水华中提取的微囊藻毒素进行测试.结果表明,太湖蓝藻水华中提取的微囊藻毒素对鼠伤寒沙门氏菌组氨酸缺陷型TA98菌株直接作用呈现致突变性,而经S9代谢活化作用后未呈现致突变性;可明显增强小鼠骨髓嗜多染红细胞的微核率,并呈现一定的剂量反应关系;但未引起小鼠精子畸变率的改变.      

NaOH改性鱼骨粉材料对Cd(II)的吸附

以鱼骨粉（FBM）为原料,利用NaOH处理制备高性能改性鱼骨粉材料（FBM_T）,通过比表面积仪（BET）、X射线衍射仪（XRD）、傅里叶红外光谱（FTIR）、扫描电镜-光电子能谱（SEM-EDS）、透射电镜（TEM）等手段对吸附前后材料形貌、孔结构、功能基团进行表征分析.结果表明,与FBM相比,FBM_T出现一定数目中孔和大孔,具备了高孔容和平均孔径,分别增加68.57%和24.69%.FBM_T材料表面-OH、C=O和PO₄^3-等官能团含量增加,显示出一定的缓冲性能.FBM和FBM_T对Cd（Ⅱ）的吸附经历快速的分配和慢速的吸附两个阶段,符合准二级动力学模型,相关系数R²分别达到0.8635及0.9480.Langmuir模型较好地拟合FBM和FBM_T对Cd（Ⅱ）的等温吸附过程,对Cd（Ⅱ）饱和吸附量由改性前的9.28mg/g增至改性后的22.47mg/g,对应的吸附强度K_F值也随之增加.分离因子0 < R_L < 1表明Cd（Ⅱ）的去除过程为有利吸附.功能材料与Cd（Ⅱ）的作用机理主要包括阳离子专性吸附、静电吸附、离子交换、表面络合及沉淀作用.以上研究为鱼骨粉修复Cd污染提供一种经济有效的方法.
