An antibody-based rapid, quantitative, and qualitative tube enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (tube-ELISA) was developed and used to determine carbaryl (1-naphthyl methylcarbamate) residues in agricultural products (apple, Chinese cabbage, rice, and barley). The tube-ELISA is a competitive immunoassay in which the antibody is coated in the polystyrene tube, with a dynamic range between 0.7 and 46.3 μg kg?1. Carbaryl was extracted from each agricultural sample by hand-shaking with methanol and examined for application to on-site analysis. After the liquid extraction, the sample extracts diluted with buffer were analyzed by rapid tube-ELISA directly. The overall test time was around 15–30 min, including sample preparation and assay performance. The results obtained from tube-ELISA correlated well with high-performance liquid chromatography (R 2 > 0.9). The study shows that tube-ELISA is useful as a quality control tool and can be used to quantitatively detect carbaryl as well.  相似文献

The development of effective fire-fighting strategies for warehouses storing large quantities of toxic chemicals depends on an understanding of the uncontrolled combustion of such toxics. This paper describes an experimental system for studying fires of this kind. Results are presented from a test programme involving fires with rates of convective heat release in the range 3–30 kW and four organophosphorus pesticides. This work on the combustion chemistry of toxic materials is part of a wider study, involving a number of laboratories, into other inter-related aspects of warehouse fires. The significance of the results for hazard assessment and emergency planning is considered.  相似文献

为研究硝酸纤维素膜(NCM)作为新型污染物降解材料在水处理领域的应用潜力,本文以对硝基苯酚为目标污染物,NCM为活性氧物种来源,考察了溶液p H、光照条件、水体成分等因素对光解的影响及其作用机制.结果表明,NCM光致·OH量子产率为1. 30×10~(-4),是传统光催化材料TiO_2的1. 86倍.纯水中对硝基苯酚的直接光解速率仅为9. 52×10-4min-1,而在NCM存在情况下光解速率达到0. 005 5 min-1.这种促进作用主要是由NCM表面光致·OH引起的,其中UVA对光解起重要作用.水体酸性条件有利于NCM光解对硝基苯酚,在p H=2. 0时,降解率达到90%以上,相应的光解速率为0. 016 5min-1.对硝基苯酚的光解速率随光照强度、膜面积的增大而提高.水体成分对光解影响呈显著差异,NO-3可通过光致·OH的生成促进光解;而可溶性有机质主要通过滤光作用抑制对硝基苯酚的光解.气相色谱-质谱分析中间产物主要有苯酚、对苯二酚、丙二酸和草酸等,由此给出了可能的光解途径.  相似文献

间二异丙苯与空气发生一次氧化反应,是间二异丙苯氧化法制备间苯二酚的关键技术,采用DSC差式扫描量热仪和VSP2绝热量热仪等,研究间二异丙苯与空气反应生成一次氧化产物的热稳定性和绝热失控特性。结果显示:间二异丙苯与空气反应生成一次氧化产物的起始放热温度(T0)为129℃,绝热温升(ΔT ad)为222℃,最高失控压力(P max)为4.05 MPa,最大反应速率到达时间为24 h对应的温度(T D24)为49.6℃。在工业化实施时应优化工艺流程,在操作过程中严格控制反应温度,优化操作条件,以保证安全生产。  相似文献

Prior studies have suggested that despite increasing sustainability awareness, many consumers are confused about the impact of green products on their health and the environment. Unlike those studies that privilege professional discourse and adopt unrealistic presumptions of rationality and morality, this article showcases consumers as active co-producers of value and meanings. Using netnography, it analyzes social media conversations around Naked Juice and Innocent smoothies—two products marketed as healthy, all-natural, and environmentally sustainable beverages. The findings reveal a baseline picture of the products' virtues of healthiness feeling (hedonic) and holistic health image (symbolic). The article illustrates how this moral conception was dynamically constructed and transformed in the course of consumers' communicative practices. It proposes three discursive strategies by which consumers negotiate the nature and boundaries of good and bad choices vis-à-vis the products: highlighting (separating virtue from vice), balancing (reconciling virtue and vice), and resisting (reconstructing virtue as vice).  相似文献

The results of a co-ordinated monitoring programme for pesticide residues in the European Union and Norway carried out in 1996 and 1997 are presented. The aim of this programme is to work towards a system, which makes it possible to estimate actual dietary pesticide intake for the population of the European Union. Based on a statistically dérived sampling plan and within the limited number of pesticides/commodities analysed, the most critical pesticides (benomyl group and dithiocarbamates) and commodities (mandarine and lettuce) were identified. In case of detected non-compliances, repeated sampling and, if necessary, enforcement actions are to be taken by national authorities. The programme will be continued in the next years.  相似文献

Consumer products are important sources of human exposure to certain chemicals. Recent regulatory requirements for assessing human exposure to three glycol ethers, namely 2-methoxyethanol (ME), 2-ethoxyethanol (EE) and 2-butoxyethanol (BE), have prompted the investigation of these chemicals in consumer products and their emission characteristics. Thirteen products were selected for investigation based on their potential of containing the chemicals. Headspace results indicated that ME and EE were not present in any of the 13 selected products, while BE was detected in the headspace samples of seven products, of which five were household cleaning agents. Other related compounds such as 2-hexyloxyethanol (HE) and 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol (BEE) were also detected in the headspace samples of some products. BE emissions from five cleaning related products were measured using a field and laboratory emission cell (FLEC) with its subunit to provide emission data for inhalation exposure assessment purposes. These products had initial emission factors ranging from 145 to 938 mg m(-2) h(-1) under the experimental conditions. It was found that the emission factor of BE was inversely proportional to the dilution factor of the products. A good relationship was established between the emission factor of BE and its concentrations in water-based products. Based on product use scenarios developed by US EPA and an assumed "standard room," average daily inhalation exposure levels of a resident as a result of performing cleaning tasks were estimated to be 0.075 and 0.186 mg (kg b.w.)(-1) day(-1) for two all-purpose spray cleaners, and 0.004 and 0.006 mg (kg b.w.)(-1) day(-1) for two-spray glass cleaners, respectively.  相似文献
