Demonstration of natural attenuation of xenobiotic organic compounds (XOCs) in landfill leachate plumes is a difficult task and still an emerging discipline within groundwater remediation. One of the early studies was made at the Vejen Landfill in Denmark in the late 1980s, which suggested that natural attenuation of XOCs took place under strongly anaerobic conditions within the first 150 m of the leachate plume. This paper reports on a revisit to the same plume 10 years later. Within the strongly anaerobic part of the plume, 49 groundwater samples were characterized with respect to redox-sensitive species and XOCs. The analytical procedures have been developed further and more compounds and lower detection limits were observed this time. In addition, the samples were screened for degradation intermediates and for toxicity. The plume showed fairly stationary features over the 10-year period except that the XOC level as well as the level of chloride and nonvolatile organic carbon (NVOC) in the plume had decreased somewhat. Most of the compounds studied were subject to degradation in addition to dilution. Exceptions were benzene, the herbicide Mecoprop (MCPP), and NVOC. In the early study, NVOC seemed to degrade in the first part of the plume, but this was no longer the case. Benzyl succinic acid (BSA) was for the first time identified in a leachate plume as a direct indicator, and as the only intermediate of toluene degradation. Toxicity measurements on solid phase-extracted (SPE) samples revealed that toxic compounds not analytically identified were still present in the plume, suggesting that toxicity measurements could be helpful in assessing natural attenuation in leachate plumes.  相似文献

膜生物反应器(MBR)中高污泥浓度和低F/M会导致部分微生物长期处于贫营养状态下,因此采用污泥内源消化试验模拟MBR中实际存在的贫营养现象。比较了好氧消化(AD)和好氧/缺氧消化(A/A/D)2种模式对于A2O+MBR工艺剩余污泥的内源消化效果及SMP的变化。研究结果表明,常温条件下A/A/D 20 d MLVSS的去除率可达到50%,AD为42%,缺氧段的引入促进了有机物和营养物质等的释放和去除,SMP浓度均呈现出显著降低而后缓慢增长并趋于稳定的趋势。EEM光谱分析表明,SMP中不同的荧光物质在内源消化过程中呈现出不同的变化规律。GPC分析认为,内源消化过程中SMP的分子量范围逐渐扩大,小分子量有机物呈增长趋势,A/A/D对SMP的降解比AD更为有效。  相似文献

对313nm光照射CS2-O2,CS2-空气(干)和CS2-空气(湿)三种体系的研究结果表明,CS2能吸收313nm光子达激发态CS2^#,CS2^#进一步和O2作用最终COS,SO2,CO等,从三种体系中CS2氧化反应的表观速率常数的比较可见,H2O(g)的存在将增大CS2光氧化速度。对CS2在313nm光照下的氧化反应机理进行了讨论。  相似文献

药物在人体健康和畜牧业生产中起到了积极的作用。但是未被完全吸收、利用的药物或其代谢物将通过尿液、粪便排泄等途径进入水体,而污水处理厂现有处理技术对其不能有效地去除。虽然药物在水体中的半衰期较短,但是其大量、频繁的使用,仍有可能形成"假性持久性"污染。近年来,在地表水、地下水、饮用水、污泥、土壤、水生物体内等环境介质中都报道有检测到不同浓度水平的药物,其对生态环境和人类健康的影响已引起国际社会广泛关注。欧美一些国家对水环境中药物做了较深入的研究,而我国相关研究报道较少。文章对水环境中药物的来源、污染现状及迁移转化行为等研究进展作了综合分析和讨论,为我国开展相关研究及建立水环境中药物污染的生态风险评价提供参考。  相似文献

选取衡水市3家典型橡胶制品企业作为研究对象,通过GC-MS/FID对其VOCs排放特征进行研究,并运用最大增量反应活性系数(maximum incremental reactivity,MIR)和气溶胶生成系数(fractional aerosol coefficient,FAC)分别对其臭氧生成潜势(ozone formaiton potential,OFP)和二次有机气溶胶(secondary organic aerosol,SOA)生成潜势进行评估.结果表明,橡胶制品行业的VOCs排放种类主要包括烷烃类、酮类、醛类、醇类和苯系物等.对于传统的只有炼胶工艺和硫化工艺的橡胶制品企业,其特征污染物主要为酮类和醇类,而对于涉及涂胶工艺和喷漆工艺的橡胶制品企业来说,其特征污染物为苯系物.对典型生产工艺的臭氧和SOA的生成潜势进行了评估:臭氧影响方面,对于不涉及涂胶和喷漆工艺的橡胶制品企业,臭氧生成贡献主要来自于含氧烃,对于涉及涂胶和喷漆工艺的企业,由于胶黏剂和漆料等有机溶剂的大量使用,苯系物对臭氧生成的贡献还是要远远大于其它VOCs物种,占到了VOCs总贡献的82.9%; SOA影响方面,...  相似文献

With the rapid development of foreign trade in China, industrial import and export has been an absolute subject in recent years. The huge trade surplus of import and export trade of industrial products brings not only high profits, but also pollution costs as well. Based on the concept of water pollution footprints (WPFs), this study applies the input-output method and calculates pollutant-producing coefficients of 20 major industrial sectors in China and investigates the WPFs caused by the import and export trades of these industrial sectors. The research results show that WPF resulting from exports exceeds that of imports from 2011 to 2015 in China. The net inflow of pollution footprint is mainly from paper mills, printing and stationery manufacturing, and textile industry; whereas a great number of WPFs are transferred to other countries by these sectors, such as metal mining and dressing industry and oil and natural gas exploitation industry.  相似文献

Market‐based, supply‐side interventions such as domestication, cultivation, and wildlife farming have been proposed as legal substitutes for wild‐collected plants and animals in the marketplace. Based on the literature, we devised a list of the conditions under which supply‐side interventions may yield positive conservation outcomes. We applied it to the trade of the orchid Rhynchostylis gigantea, a protected ornamental plant. We conducted a survey of R. gigantea at Jatujak Market in Bangkok, Thailand. Farmed (legal) and wild (illegal, protected) specimens of R. gigantea were sold side‐by‐side at market. These results suggest farmed specimens are not being substituted for wild plants in the marketplace. For any given set of physical plant characteristics (size, condition, flowers), the origin of the plants (wild vs. farmed) did not affect price. For all price classes, farmed plants were of superior quality to wild‐collected plants on the basis of most physical variables. These results suggest wild and farmed specimens represent parallel markets and may not be substitutable goods. Our results with R. gigantea highlight a range of explanations for why supply‐side interventions may lack effectiveness, for example, consumer preferences for wild‐collected products and low financial incentives for farming. Our results suggest that market‐based conservation strategies may not be effective by themselves and may be best utilized as supplements to regulation and education. This approach represents a broad, multidisciplinary evaluation of supply‐side interventions that can be applied to other plant and animal species. 药品和个人护理品(PPCPs)是近年来受到环境界普遍关注、具有潜在生态风险的新型有机微污染物.城市污水处理厂(STPs)出水排放是PPCPs向环境迁移最重要的途径,而控制PPCPs随STPs出水排放则是控制PPCPs环境影响的关键.本文分类综述了抗生素、消炎止痛药物、精神类药物、β受体拮抗剂、环境雌激素、调血脂药物、合成麝香、其它类等PPCPs的药理与功能、分类、应用现状和生态毒性,重点总结了1998~2012年间全球STPs出水中频繁检出的典型PPCPs及其最高浓度,为开展STPs排放控制研究提供依据.最后,展望了本领域的未来研究方向与发展趋势.  相似文献

引起膜污染的因素主要有污泥特性、运行参数、膜材料和进水特性。尽管国内外学者对膜污染进行了大量的研究,但对其影响因素仍然感到非常困惑,主要是因为膜污染物和活性污泥特性异常复杂。膜污染现象增加污水处理运行和维修费用,是限制膜生物反应器(MBR)在污水治理方面广泛应用的主要障碍,其中微生物代谢产物(EPS、SMP)是引起膜污染的主要物质。在论述了溶解性代谢产物(SMP)对膜污染影响的基础上,着重从减少SMP的角度介绍了缓解膜污染的控制措施。  相似文献
