This article studies the relationship between the ideology of newspapers and their climate change coverage. Previous research has focused on the British press (Carvalho, 2007; Carvalho & Burgess, 2005). Our research broadens this scope to the French and Dutch media. The results show that the ideology of newspapers in the Netherlands is not related to climate change coverage, while in France the ideology of newspapers is related to some key aspects of climate change coverage, i.e., the presentation of the necessity of actions against climate change and the tone of climate change coverage. The findings suggests that ideological cultures play a role in the coverage of climate change in countries in which global warming has brought about much discussion in the political field and that are characterized by a highly competitive media landscape which is historically related to the political field. 相似文献

针对某炼油厂目前换热器管束泄漏事故频发的现状,研究了基于远场涡流和内窥镜的无损检测技术在碳钢换热器管束检测中的应用,并提出了通过远场涡流和内窥镜检测技术对换热管柬堵管原则进行完整性评价的方法,实现换热管束堵管的针对性、可靠性和合理性。本文所提出的各项技术的综合应用,可以最大程度地找出在用换热器已经泄漏和尚未泄漏但损伤超过临界尺寸的换热管柬,并根据切实、可靠和有针对性的堵管原则进行堵管处理,可以有效减少运行周期内换热管束的泄漏次数,对石化企业安全生产和经济效益的提高有重要影响。 相似文献

长江三峡工程举世瞩目,引起国内外各方面极大关注。河口是大河的末端,是淡水和海水交汇的水域,所以环境因子复杂多变。河口的许多重要理化特征和生物特征都具有其特殊性,使河口生态环境形成一个结构复杂、功能独特的生态系统,该系统表现为既脆弱又敏感。在长江干流上兴建巨大的水利枢纽工程,其生态环境效应除了在库区及中、下游外,必然也会涉及到河口甚至邻近海域。为探讨三峡工程对长江河口生态环境的影响,于1998~2001年对长江口及其临近水域展开综合调查。根据调查数据,结合历史资料对三峡水库蓄水前的长江口及邻近海域水文物理、沉积环境、水化学、初级生产力、浮游生物、底栖生物和渔业资源进行了全面分析,并进一步阐明了长江口生态环境与长江入海径流量间的关系;提供了三峡水库蓄水前长江口生态与环境的基础资料,对长江口生态系统健康度作出评价,为长江口生态环境保护与可持续发展奠定了良好的基础。 相似文献

Tailings disposal is a significant consideration for the mining industry, with the majority of the ore processed in most mining operations ending up as tailings. Several tailings dam failure accidents have occurred during the past few years and mine tailings dam failures, which are disastrous with the serious damage and the loss of lives, are occurring at relatively high rates. To improve the tailings dam safety, a tailings dam monitoring and pre-alarm system (TDMPAS) based on the internet of things (IOT) and cloud computing (CC) is accomplished with the abilities of real-time monitoring of the saturated line, impounded water level and the dam deformation. TDMPAS has helped the mine engineers monitor the dam safety 24/7 and acquire pre-alarm information automatically and remotely in any kind of weather conditions. TDMPAS has been applied in several mines and has demonstrated the feasibility of monitoring the tailings dam physical condition. 相似文献

浮游植物群落稳定性变化不仅带来一系列水体生态环境变化,而且也影响了水体生态系统的服务功能.为了揭示库区水体浮游植物群落稳定性变化,分别于春季、夏季、秋季和冬季对三峡库区支流花溪河的11个样点进行浮游植物采集,并对资源利用效率(RUEPP)、物种丰富度(S)、物种均匀度(J)和群落更替值(BC)进行研究.结果表明,花溪河全年共检测出藻类8门103属380种,春季、夏季、秋季和冬季分别采集到264、181、197和183种,绿藻种类最多,其次是硅藻、裸藻和蓝藻;S0样点物种数量和细胞密度最小,S2样点物种数量和细胞密度最大;夏季RUEPP最大,秋季RUEPP最小;BC与RUEPP、物种均匀度、总磷(TP)、正磷酸盐(PO43--P)、总氮(TN)、硝氮(NO3--N)、高锰酸盐指数和电导率(Spc)呈显著负相关,而与物种丰富度和溶氧(DO)呈显著正相关系,表明蓄水对花溪河浮游植物群落结构具有显著的影响,导致浮游植物群落不稳定,易发生更替,其更替程度受生物因子和非生物因子共同作用. 相似文献

The study was conducted to investigate people’s forest dependency and contributions of forests to the livelihoods in the three hill districts of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh. The study revealed that forest resources contribute significantly to rural community’s livelihoods and economic well-being. Using generalized logistic regressions, this study has also investigated the socioeconomic factors that affect people’s dependency on forest resources of CHT. The study revealed that people’s income from forest and forest-related occupation was positively aligned with their forest dependency. However, their education level significantly reduced their dependency on forest resources. Thus, educating the forest-dependent people and supporting alternative income generation activities should be appreciated for effective forest management in CHT. This study will be helpful to forest and environmental policy makers for CHT. 相似文献
