Simultaneous Measurements of Atmospheric Pollutants and Visibility with a Long-Path DOAS System in Urban Areas 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
In this paper, the applicability of a Long-Path Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (LP-DOAS) system was checked for the feasibility of the simultaneous measurement of trace gases (such as O3, NO2, SO2, and HCHO) and atmospheric visibility (light extinction by aerosols) in Asian urban areas. Field studies show that an LP-DOAS system can simultaneously measure the key pollutants (such as O3, NO2, SO2, and HCHO) at detection limits in the ppb/sub-ppb range as well as the Mie extinction coefficient with an uncertainty of 0.1 km–1 at time resolution of a few minutes. It is thus concluded that the use of LP-DOAS system is feasible for simultaneous measurement of gaseous pollutants as well as an atmospheric extinction coefficient which is tightly bound to fine particulate concentration. 相似文献

Monitoring groundwaters under the influence of reclaimedwater must consider the major constituents of concern inreclaimed water. This research focused on the fate ofdissolved organic carbon and nitrogen species at field siteslocated throughout the Southwestern United States. Awatershed approach was developed to predict the fate ofdissolved organic carbon as a function of the drinking waterdissolved organic carbon concentration and the totaldissolved solids concentration in the reclaimed water. Extensive characterization of the dissolved organic carbonrecovered from groundwaters under the influence of reclaimedwater was done. With the exception of fluorescencespectroscopy, the dissolved organic carbon present ineffluent organic matter was similar in structure, characterand reactivity as compared to natural organic matter. Evidence for sustainable nitrogen removal mechanisms duringgroundwater recharge with reclaimed water was obtained. Theautotrophic reaction between ammonia and nitrate appears to amechanism for the removal nitrogen in a carbon-depletedenvironment. The monitoring tools and methodologiesdeveloped in this research can be used to assure protectionof public health and determine the sustainability of indirectpotable reuse projects. 相似文献

The use of airborne hyperspectral remote sensing imagery for automated mapping of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) in the tidal Potomac River was investigated for near to real-time resource assessment and monitoring. Airborne hyperspectral imagery and field spectrometer measurements were obtained in October of 2000. A spectral library database containing selected ground-based and airborne sensor spectra was developed for use in image processing. The spectral library is used to automate the processing of hyperspectral imagery for potential real-time material identification and mapping. Field based spectra were compared to the airborne imagery using the database to identify and map two species of SAV (Myriophyllum spicatum and Vallisneria americana). Overall accuracy of the vegetation maps derived from hyperspectral imagery was determined by comparison to a product that combined aerial photography and field based sampling at the end of the SAV growing season. The algorithms and databases developed in this study will be useful with the current and forthcoming space-based hyperspectral remote sensing systems. 相似文献

The calorific value enhancement of lignite by briquetting with novolac resin and plastic wastes is discussed in this work. Mixtures of several types of lignite with novolac as binder, with or without polypropylene, were manufactured in the form of pellets by curing. Pellets were pyrolyzed at 300°C and 500°C, and weight losses were determined. Chemical transformations during curing were studied by Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, and the corresponding changes in the microstructure of the pellets were investigated by optical microscopy. Specimens of cured pellets were tested for their impact resistance index (IRI) and water resistance index (WRI). The incorporation of polypropylene in the pellets leads to an increase of IRI and a decrease of WRI. The calorific value was measured for both cured and pyrolyzed pellets. All pellets exhibit increased lower calorific value compared with raw lignite, indicating an upgrade of their energy content. 相似文献

Critical algal blooms in great lakes increase the level of algal organic matters(AOMs),significantly altering the composition of natural organic matters(NOMs) in freshwater of lake.This study examined the AOM's characteristics of Nitzschia palea(N.palea),one kind of the predominant diatom and an important biomarker of water quality in the great lakes of China,to investigate the effect of AOMs on the variation of NOMs in lakes and the process of algal energy.Excitation–emission matrix fluorescence(EEM) spectroscopy,synchronous fluorescence(SF) spectroscopy and deconvolution UV–vis(D-UV) spectroscopy were utilized to characterize AOMs to study the effects of nutrient loading on the composition change of AOMs.From results,it was revealed that the phosphorus is the limiting factor for N.palea's growth and the generation of both total organic carbon and amino acids but the nitrogen is more important for the generation of carbohydrates and proteins.EEM spectra revealed differences in the composition of extracellular organic matter and intracellular organic matter.Regardless of the nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations,aromatic proteins and soluble microbial products were the main components,but the nitrogen concentration had a significant impact on their composition.The SF spectra were used to study the AOMs for the first time and identified that the protein-like substances were the major component of AOMs,creating as a result of aromatic group condensation.The D-UV spectra showed carboxylic acid and esters were the main functional groups in the EOMs,with –OCH_3,–SO_2NH_2,–CN,–NH_2,–O– and –COCH_3functional groups substituting into benzene rings. 相似文献

为研究丁苯橡胶生产废水的好氧生物降解特性,对某石化企业丁苯橡胶生产装置的生产废水进行好氧处理,并采用液液萃取-气相色谱/质谱、三维荧光光谱、紫外吸收光谱等手段对水质指标进行表征. 结果表明:经好氧生物降解后,丁苯橡胶废水中ρ(CODCr)和ρ(DOC)分别降至155和76 mg/L,CODCr和DOC去除率分别为76.07%和70.08%;废水中二苄胺、苯乙烯和十二烷基二甲基叔胺等9种主要特征有机物19 d内可被完全降解. 丁苯橡胶生产废水在λEx/λEm(激发波长/发射波长)为225 nm/340 nm、215 nm/290 nm,275 nm/340 nm处有3个荧光峰,分别由二苄胺、十二烷基二甲基叔胺、苯乙烯、甲苯和苯甲醛等胺类、苯乙烯和芳香族化合物等有机物产生,好氧生物降解能去除废水中的绝大部分荧光物质,荧光峰强度的总去除率达到93.87%;废水中二苄胺、十二烷基二甲基叔胺、4-甲基环己酮、苯甲醛,苯乙烯、甲苯等有机物使丁苯橡胶生产废水分别在波长190~230、230~250、250~400 nm处有紫外吸收,好氧生物降解对UV254的去除率达到52%. 研究显示,丁苯橡胶废水经单独好氧生物处理不能达到GB 31572—2015《合成树脂工业污染物排放标准》的要求,需结合其他方式进行联合处理. 相似文献

以受季节性冻融过程影响显著的辽宁省棕壤和暗棕壤为研究对象,考察了冻结温度、融化温度、冻结时间和冻融次数对土壤中溶解性有机物(DOM)的光谱学特性的影响.结果表明:冻融处理条件下土壤中的溶解性有机碳(DOC)含量、波长254 nm处的紫外吸光度(UV-254)和单位浓度DOC的紫外吸收值(SUVA)的变化规律相似,均随冷冻和融化温度的升高而增大,随冷冻时间的延长先减小后增大,随冻融次数的增多而减小.冻融作用使DOM的腐殖化程度提高,分子量减小.随着冷冻时间的延长,DOM中类富里酸荧光物质和类腐殖酸荧光物质的含量先减少后增多;随着冻融次数的增多,DOM中荧光物质的含量逐渐减少.研究成果对于准确掌握冻融条件下土壤中DOM的变化规律,以及实施有效的土壤生态环境和地表水流域环境管理具有重要的理论意义和实用价值. 相似文献

Ftorafur is an antimetabolite antitumour drug successfully used for treatment of various tumours. It is generally accepted that ftorafur is converted to 5-fluoruracil. However, some data indicate direct interactions of the compound with DNA. To test this hypothesis we have performed spectrophotometric study of DNA interactions of ftorafur and some of its elementoorganic derivatives with DNA. UV-VIS spectra of the tested compounds were recorded in absence and presence of increasing amounts of DNA. DNA caused a hypochromic effect in spectra of ftorafur, similar, but weaker effect was observed in 5-fluoruracil spectra. Trimethylgermyl derivative of ftorafur manifested a higher DNA-binding capacity compared to ftorafur. To reveal possible mechanism of interaction between the tested nucleosides and DNA ethidium bromide extrusion experiments were performed. It was shown that the compounds did not compete with EBr for intercalation. Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy analyses revealed decrease in intensity of several bands in spectra of ftorafur, its trimethylgermyl derivative and fluorouracil in presence of DNA indicating again interactions between the compounds and DNA. Docking experiments reveal interactions of the tested nucleosides with the DNA minor groove. Thus ftorafur is capable to interact directly with DNA; further modifications of the molecule enhance this capacity. 相似文献

实验室间呼吸性粉尘中石英含量测定方法的研究目的在于研究影响实验室间测定数据差异性的因素 ,探讨改善测试技术提高精度方法 ;其方法是制备 3种试验样品 ,进行实验室间共同测试 ;其测试结果 :7个实验室对 3种样品报告了 6 2个数据 ,2个实验室采用 XRD法、5个采用 IR法 ,3种样品的测试变异性分别为 30 .5 %、16 .1%、6 9% ;其中 XRD为 (2 5 .2~ 6 7) %、IR为 (13.9~5 7) %。本研究课题的最终结论 :实验室间测定数据具有可比性 ,达到国际 80年代水平 ;标准物质应统一 ,制样、测试等技术有待提高。 相似文献
