实验制备并表征了XS - 1、XS - 2、XS - 3和XS - 4四种新生态MnO2 ,比较了它们对造纸废水的CODCr去除率和脱色率。结果表明 ,XS - 1和XS - 2样品的处理效果较好。选择XS - 1作为处理剂 ,研究了 pH值、投加量、温度等因素对处理效果的影响 ,并探讨了作用机理。当 pH值小于 1 .5、投加量为 50mg/ 1 0 0mL时 ,1 5℃下振荡 1h后 ,对CODCr为 3680mg/L、色度为 650倍的造纸废水的CODCr去除率达 60 % ,脱色率可达 91 %。  相似文献

Palm oil industry in Malaysia is one of the potential candidates for the CDM project because large amount of methane is emitted from the lagoons and open digesting tank of the wastewater treatment system. Therefore the first objective of the project is to investigate the actual GHG emission from the lagoons and open digesting tank in palm oil mills in order to establish the baseline for CDM project. Results indicated that methane contribution to biogas released from the open digesting tank and lagoon systems were 35% and 45%, respectively. These values are much lower than the reported value of 65% obtained by complete anaerobic condition of lab-scale experiments. Based on actual methane release measurement and information gathered from palm oil mill about wastewater treatment, significant amount of methane emission to the atmosphere can be reduced with the installation of new closed digesting tank system converted from the open digesting tank such as just by covering it with applying CDM. It is estimated that a total of RM2.6 million could be obtained from the selling of electricity generated from biogas generation and Certified Emission Reduction(CER). ABSTRACT: The Lower Fox River, Wisconsin, hosts the densest concentration of paper mills in the US., with 18 located along a 4Gde stretch between Lake Winnebago and Green Bay, Lake Michigan. Some of these companies use only primary, others also secondary, waste treatment techniques. Comparison of the quantities of wastes discharged with the legal limits indicates that all plants discharge only 40-50 percent or less of the allowable suspended solids; most discharge < 50 percent of the allowable BOD. This is equal or better than the performance of paper companies elsewhere in the state. Reductions in pollutant discharges have corresponded to improved water quality, though too much BOD is still discharged to be adequately assimilated by the Fox River. The relatively low current level of discharges means permit levels would have to be drastically cut to make any significant impact on water quality. Only a few companies might be seriously affected by such changes. Flow and temperature related permits would likely be more effective, but more difficult to comply with for the industry. Toxic substances are also a potential problem, particularly chlororganic compounds that can form in situ from the chlorine frequently used for pulp bleaching.  相似文献

The significance of accidental releases has increased during the past few years. The reason for this is that the level of continuous process emission has gone down, partly due to more stringent environmental regulations and partly due to technical improvements. The aim of the study was to minimize accidental releases from a sulphate pulp mill. Some well-known methods of risk analysis were used as a tool. This article presents the application of risk analysis to reduce accidental releases of concentrated malodorous gases from a sulphate pulp mill. This particular objective was chosen not only because of the inconvenience caused by the smell but also the possible health hazards which have been of growing concern recently. In this study, risk analysis has proved to be a recommendable tool in environmental protection of sulphate pulp mills. However, only thorough advance planning before analysis begins can guarantee the most efficient and beneficial results of risk analysis. The aim of the examination and the resources available have an effect on the selection of the method and also on the level of examination.  相似文献

选取苏州地表水体中具有代表性的22个点位采集水样,以纸片法和多管发酵法测定水中粪大肠菌群进行方法比对,达标情况相同,均为64.8%,阳性管率无显著性差异(X^2=0.18,P〉0.05),MPN值也无显著性差异(t=0.01,P〉0.05)。纸片法测定Ⅲ水功能区(t=0.04)较Ⅳ水功能区(t=0.18)效果更好。纸片法快速测定地表水中的粪大肠菌群在苏州地区是适用的。  相似文献
