A coupled fluid-structure-fracture approach incorporating a high-efficiency detonation modeling algorithm was proposed to study the consequences of premixed flammable gas explosion occurring in pipe. A strain-rate-dependent failure criterion which is the vital prerequisite for accurate consequences prediction was derived based on the failure mechanism of materials at high strain rates and it was applied to account for the fracture of pipe. The simulated pressure time history and fracture patterns were validated against experimental results and good agreements were acquired. The interaction between detonation wave and pipe during crack extension, dynamic fracture processes of pipes with different initial flaws, venting features of detonation products and pressure profiles out of pipe were obtained and discussed in detail. The comparison with existing semi-empirical and CFD methods was performed and it is revealed that the deformation and fracture of pipe have obvious negative influences on the peak overpressure and the rate of pressure increase out of pipe. Because the energy absorption and dissipation due to structural deformation and fracture are well taken into account, the coupled fluid-structure-fracture method is expected to provide more rational consequences prediction and analysis results.  相似文献

为研究连通容器内气体爆炸规律,采用Fluent(经典流体动力学软件)对柱形连通容器内预混气体爆炸过程进行模拟,模拟了不同点火位置和火焰传播方向条件下连通容器内火焰传播过程和压力变化,并分析了连通容器内不同时刻的速度场.结果表明:火焰面在传播过程中并非完全对称,当火焰到达传爆容器后,湍流燃烧剧烈,火焰不规则变形显著;端面点火后在传爆容器内产生的压力峰值和压力波动比中心点火时更大;当起爆容器为大容器时,传爆容器内气体预压缩程度更大,压力峰值更高.  相似文献

过充是导致电池爆炸的一种常见原因,分析过充与电池爆炸的关系及过充所导致的电池爆炸对周围环境的破坏程度极其重要.以10 Ah三元材料锂离子电池为研究对象,采用不同倍率过充方式刺激锂离子电池,利用高速摄影仪、红外热像仪和压力传感器来记录该锂离子电池爆炸、燃烧的图像、温度和压力.结果表明:电池在过充的过程中,其温度变化分为3个阶段;发生爆炸后,电池的能量主要以燃烧的形式释放,燃烧的火球面积高达770.64 cm2;距电池爆炸15 cm处,最大压强为0.03 MPa,可见电池爆炸会对周围环境造成一定破坏.  相似文献

晚期垃圾渗滤液具有氨氮浓度较高、碳氮比(C/N)较低和可生化性差的特点,生物脱氮较困难.本文研究了改变进水总氮负荷和BOD5/TN比值对填埋场生物反应器处理垃圾渗滤液的脱氮效果的影响.结果表明,总氮负荷为15~25g·(m3·d)-1的范围内时,总氮去除负荷稳定为10~12 g·(m3·d)-1,但是总氮去除率随着负荷的增加从67.7%下降至60.2%,说明在一定范围总氮负荷的增加会降低总氮去除率,但不会影响去除负荷.当改变进水的BOD5/TN从0.3提高到0.4后,总氮负荷为9 g·(m3·d)-1时的厌氧、准好氧反应器,总氮去除率可从79.9%分别提高到89.9%和86.2%,表明提高BOD5/TN能够有效促进填埋场生物反应器对总氮污染物的去除,并且厌氧条件下效果更好.脱氮途径分析表明,填埋场生物反应器中厌氧氨氧化和反硝化作用可以协同脱氮.  相似文献

Most industrial powder processes handle mixtures of various flammable powders. Consequently, hazard evaluation leads to a reduction of the disaster damage that arises from dust explosions. Determining the minimum ignition energy (MIE) of flammable mixtures is critical for identifying possibility of accidental hazard in industry. The aim of this work is to measure the critical ignition energy of different kinds of pure dusts with various particle sizes as well as mixtures thereof.The results show that even the addition of a modest amount of a highly flammable powder to a less combustible powder has a significant impact on the MIE. The MIE varies considerably when the fraction of the highly flammable powder exceeds 20%. For dust mixtures consisting of combustible dusts, the relationship between the ignition energy of the mixture and the minimum ignition energy of the components follows the so-called harmonic model based upon the volume fraction of the pure dusts in the mixture. This correlation provides results which show satisfactory agreement with the experimental values.  相似文献

This study aims to develop a quantitative risk assessment (QRA) framework for on-board hydrogen storage systems in light-duty fuel cell vehicles, with focus on hazards from potential vehicular collision affecting hydride-based hydrogen storage vessels. Sodium aluminum hydride (NaAlH4) has been selected as a representative reversible hydride for hydrogen storage. Functionality of QRA framework is demonstrated by presenting a case study of a postulated vehicle collision (VC) involving the onboard hydrogen storage system. An event tree (ET) model is developed for VC as the accident initiating event. For illustrative purposes, a detailed FT model is developed for hydride dust cloud explosion as part of the accident progress. Phenomenologically-driven ET branch probabilities are estimated based on an experimental program performed for this purpose. Safety-critical basic events (BE) in the FT model are determined using conventional risk importance measures. The Latin Hypercube sampling (LHS) technique has been employed to propagate the aleatory (i.e., stochastic) and epistemic (i.e., phenomenological) uncertainties associated with the probabilistic ET and FT models. Extrapolation of the proposed QRA framework and its core risk-informed insights to other candidate on-board reversible and off-board regenerable hydrogen storage systems could provide better understanding of risk consequences and mitigation options associated with employing this hydrogen-based technology in the transportation sector.  相似文献

This study investigated a 2010 fire and explosion that occurred at a polypropylene (PP) and copper-clad laminate high-tech plant in Taiwan. Liquid acetone leakage caused the fire and explosion. One person was killed and five were injured; property damage was estimated at US$20 million. In contrast to conventional plants, high-tech plants have sophisticated instrumentation, highly complex pipelines, and confined spaces. In addition, the floor area in a high-tech plant is large and frequently contains a channel through the ground floor to the second or third floor. This channel design enables the fire compartment to be destroyed. Therefore, the system cannot confine the fire to a specific area, thus hindering fire-relief operations. In this study, the original fire outbreak occurred in the PP processing area on the ground floor. The acetone storage tank was located on the third floor. The investigation conducted at the fire site of the situations of the burning (bursting) loss determined that the acetone liquid leaked and dripped from floor cracks and tunnel oven to the PP processing area. Because the PP manufacturing process rapidly generates static electricity, the flammable liquids made contact with the source of ignition, which caused the explosion and fire. Various procedures, such as those involving the operating environment of production, packaging, and processing in a high-tech plant, are likely to produce static electricity in a workplace. Improved electrostatic management can prevent the loss of property and lives, liquid acetone leakage, and loss of equipment caused by static electricity fire.  相似文献

采用Degussa P25 TiO2粉末,利用光沉积法制备贵金属负载光催化剂M/TiO2(M分别为Pt、Pd、Ag和Au)。通过气相甲苯光催化降解实验考察M/TiO2的光催化活性。实验结果表明:负载1.0 wt%的Pt、Pd、Ag和Au四种贵金属均可提高TiO2光催化降解甲苯的效率,其中Pt/TiO2的光催化活性最佳。循环伏安法(CV)、塔菲尔(Tafel)和Mott-Schottky电化学测试证明Pt的负载抑制光生电子和空穴的复合,提高载流子浓度,进而增强TiO2光催化活性。  相似文献

环氧氯丙烷生产工艺中双氧水分解产生的氧气与含氯丙烯、环氧氯丙烷、甲醇的可燃气体混合存在燃爆危险,为预防燃爆发生,利用5L爆炸极限测试仪测定分离罐气相出口可燃气在不同氧气浓度条件下的爆炸极限,并以此绘制爆炸极限三元图,得到不同工况条件下"可燃气-氧气-氮气"混合体系的燃爆区域。结果表明:随着氧气浓度的升高,可燃气爆炸上限明显提高,但爆炸下限变化不明显;随温度上升,气相出口组分发生变化,LOC值逐渐降低;正常冷却条件下极限氧含量为12%,冷却效果差时为10%,冷却失效时为9.3%;设置氧浓度报警时参考最小LOC值,留出裕度空间,控制体系氧含量小于5%有助于预防燃爆发生。  相似文献
