| Abstract: | Six different bentonites were studied for colour removal from dye-containing effluents. Two dyes of each of the basic, acid and direct categories were studied. Because of good results we have received with relatively small amounts of bentonite we propose this material as an effective and cheap adsorbent for this purpose. |
