| Abstract: | Four species of Phoronidea occur in the Gullmar Fiord (West coast of Sweden). The ecology, morphology and taxonomy of one of these, Phoronis mülleri
Selys-Longchamps 1903, have been studied in some detail. The other 3 species, P. ovalis, P. hippocrepia, and P. pallida, are briefly discussed. The discovery of P. mülleri at Madagascar is evidence of the cosmopolitism of the species. |
