摘    要:某镇的稻田因受工业污水污染而导致水稻大面积死苗,采用生苗监测方法直找污染源,用5个工厂的污水和污泥进行盆栽水稻试验,结果表明,其中两个工厂的污水和污泥有较强的毒性全对稻苗造成严重伤害;另外两个工厂的污泥也会对稻苗造成严重伤害,有关工厂采取严格的环境保护措施后,1997年的水稻受害面积比1996年减少了95%。

Abstract:The seedlings in a large area of rice field nearby a town had withered because of pollution by industrial wastewaters. To find out the pollution sources by biological monitoring, a trial of potted rice has been carried out using wastewaters and sludges from 5 factories. The results show that the wastewaters and sludges from two factories are most toxic and can cause serious damage to rice seedlings, and those from other two factories can also cause damage. After taking a series of measures in the concerned factories to protect the environment, the damaged area of rice field in 1997 reduced 95% in comparison with that in 1996.
