| Abstract: | The first synthesis of and 12-hydroxylated derivatives of endrin (and thence 12-ketoendrin) has been accomplished in three steps starting from hexachlorocyclopentadiene and 7-benzoyloxy 2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene. |
