The contents of the paper is mainly about how the dust comes from shakeout division of the foundry and polluts the environment.The paper shares the experience of which through converting,the Heavy Casting Section of Foundry Workshop of the Shenyang NO.1 Machine Tool Works has achieved good results on utilizing sealed dust removing shade to collect dust in the shakeout area and selecting proper dust catchers to construct rational dust removing system.The paper also recommands how to have the environment purified by strengthening the dust emiossion control,designing liftable chute for dust discharge and ensuring special tank truck for dust exhaust.
