| Abstract: | The disposal of huge amount of red mud in aluminum industry has incurred serious environmental problems. In this paper, the status quo of comprehensive utilization of red mud in this country and abroad is reviewed; much attention is attached to the removal of hazardous materials from red mud and the uses as construction materials. |
