| Abstract: | Various thermochemical processes for treating residual activated sludge,such as preparation of oil,wet oxidation,melting,gasification,preparation of activated carbon and so on are described and their advantages and disadvantages are remarked.It is pointed out that low temperature pyrolysis process for preparing oil from sludge has a promising future. |
