Problems and Countermeasures of Atmospheric Environment Quality for Wafangdian City

With the development of modem industry, the environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. It di- rectly affects people＇s life and the development of economy, society and environment. The air pollution is a major environmental problem in cities, receiving more and more attentions from the public. In order to efficiently control of air pollution, scientific as- sessment should be conducted on air quality. It is very important to study the current situation of air pollution in city and predict the development trend objectively, in a bid to efficiently control of the air pollution and propose strategies for sustainable develop- ment. This paper analyses the causes of air pollution and puts forward the existing problems as well as countermeasures of pollu- tion prevention and control. This study aims to improve urban air quality and realize coordinated development of economy and en- vironment.
