| 摘 要： | China is among the earliest countries to draft its national sustainable development strategy. Shortly after the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in 1992, the Chinese Government decided to formulate and implement China's Agenda 21 - the White Paper on China's Population, Environment and Development in the 21st Century. This document serves as the basic guideline to direct the social and economic development in China. |
