摘    要:硝基苯(NB)生产废水中含有大量NB及其衍生物,对生物具有毒性,属难生物降解物质.采用ClO2三相催化氧化工艺对NB废水进行处理.结果表明,每升废水投加280、350 mg ClO2,废水在活性炭加载含铜复合金属氧化物的催化剂床层停留56min,NB和色度的去除率均达到95%以上,COD去除率达到90%以上.吨废水处理成本约为10.5元.

Abstract:Toxic nitrobenzene and its derivatives were present in the wastewaterof a nitrobenzene manufacturing plant and its biotreated effluent. Series of experiments were conducted to evaluate effectiveness of three-phase catalytic oxidation, employing onsite produced ClO2 (from equal volume of 8.3% NaClO2 and 10.3% HCl solutions), in a pilot scale tower filled with Cu-coated activated carbon (serving both as an adsorbent and a catalyst) for treatment of both the wastewater and the biotreated effluent. Operating at an empty bed residence time of >50 minutes and using a ClO2 dose of 350 mg/L, the catalytic oxidation treatment accomplished excellent removal of COD, nitrobenzene and color (> 90%, 95% and 95%, respectively). The estimated cost for treating the wastewater (COD=1 000 mg/L, nitrobenzene = 130 mg/L) was about RMB$10.5/m3.
