| Abstract: | Sphaerotilus is a kind of filamentous bacterium with typical sheath forming. It occurs mainly in activated sludge and polluted water. In this article,the biological properties of the morphology,physiology and biochemistry,isolation,purification,and preservation of the bacteria and its applications in environmental protection are reported. |
