This paper expounds the bridge crane girder security appraisal .According to the testing requirements and specifi-cations ,the span of the bridge girder ,diagonal ,deformation ,stress and strain ,component damage condition and joint in-spection are tested .The bearing capacity of the structure is also checked and analyzed ,the reinforcement schemes and con-struction methods are presented ,and so the hidden dangers of structure are eliminated and the lifting capacity of crane is re-stored .
