| Abstract: | Based on analyzing data of geological structure, geophysical field, seismicity, intensity and crust stress field, it is concluded that the Congming east depression laid off Yangtze River mouth and the buried faults of NE and NW trend may control South Yellow Sea earthquake of M s6.1, Nov.1996. |
