Abstract:Deficiency of available phosphorus in soil is an important limiting factor for increasing agriculturalyield. To breed the crop varieties which can efficiently utilize the phosphorus retained in soil together with rea-sonable use of phosphorus fertilizer is an effective way to solve phosphorus deficiency. Under the condition ofintercropping maize and soybean, it was found molybdenum application can promote soybean to fix more nitro-gen, thus increasing the yield of the two crops. To develop the high efficiency ammoniurn bicarbonate to im-prove the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers is suggested.
