| Abstract: | Acute toxicity tests with six chlorobenzenes were performed on several aquatic organisms at different trophic levels. Fertility impairment on Daphnia and photosynthesis inhibition on Selenastrum were also carried on. Results are discussed together with physico-chemical properties of the molecules in order to identify structure-activity relationships and to predict environmental distribution. A hazard ranking procedure is also applied. |
