Study on Environmental Impact of Tourism Development in Islands and Its Countermeasures

As an unique geographical unit, island owns rich tourist resources and bright future. But along with the rapid development of tourism, the island's environment has been being damaged seriously. Furthermore, as an environmental sensitive area with fragile (eco-environment,) it is hard to recover from the damaged situation. Therefore, paying more attention to the environmental problems, (tightening) up the protection of environment and promoting the sustainable development of island economy should be widely concerned.
