Abstract: | This paper presents a model that is based on the hedonic hypothesis that goods are valued for their utility-bearing attributes or characteristics and uses them to estimate the net social benefit per household of marginal environmental changes in Southern Ontario, Canada. The empirical results show that the standard non-structural approach would overestimate the net social benefit per household. |
