Approach on Assessment Methodology and Management Countermeasure of Polluted Soil

Soil pollution is an environmental problem which is eagerly required to pay great attention to. Based on investigation and study, methodology of assessment and management countermeasure on polluted soil were put forward in this paper. Assessment of polluted soil including identification, environmental risk assessment and purification, the procedure may divide into five stages, i.e. preparatory investigation, primary investigation, detailed investigation, selection of rehibilitation technique and implementation of rehibiliation. The detailed investigation should be carried out with good planning and focused on waste piles and sites, and the polluted site after removal of the factory. Purification of polluted soil is a costly project, so legislation should be speed up and identified the responsibility, and set up "Soil Risk Foundation" by the govenment, so as to assure that purification will carry on smoothly.
