| Abstract: | In this paper, the development is analyzed on the present status of the speciality of Safety Engineering in colleges and universities in China. It is proposed that the establishment of Safety Engineering. Major should mainly be based on Safety science and technologh while considering teaching some practical knowledge. As a result of this viewpoint, the general and specializing courses should be so arranged as to form the characteristics of safety engineering. |
