| Abstract: | The effects of dilution on the complexation of metal ions by the organic matter dissolved in effluent from a fishmeal factory were studied at pH 6.5, 7 and 7.5. The relationship between sample dilution and complexation capacity (determined by titration with copper(II) using DPASV to measure the concentration of labile copper) was linear and with a slope apparently independent of pH. |
