| Abstract: | In the current information age, information concerning forestry safety management needs to be disseminated through the Internet; however, the information must be available only to those for whom it was intended, which requires the use of state of the art computer security technology. Some of the problems related to computer security technology are discussed here and several methods for ensuring the secure operation of individual computers are illustrated with examples. |
