赣西北地区石炭系研究的新进展

在赣西北地区石炭纪沉积学及生物地层学研究中取得如下新进展.1.上石炭统原黄龙组顶部首次:采获船山组标准化石,(?)Eoparafusulina sp.,证实了本区有晚石炭世马平期沉积一船山组的存在。2.黄龙组下部白云岩段,发现牙形刺:Idiognathoides sinuatus-Idiognathodus delicatus 动物群 及(?)类:Verella cf.prolixa,Ozawainella pseudorhomboidalis等,为白云岩段时代归属威宁期提供了化石依据。3.作者认为本区黄龙组底部零至三十余米的一套碎屑岩主要为石炭纪威宁期始时海侵初期的滨海相或浅海滞留沉积,与其上白云岩为连续沉积。

NEW ADVANCES IN STUDY OF CARBONIFEROUS IN THE JUIJIANG-RUICHANG DISTRICTS, JIANGXI, CHINA

During recent study of Carboniferous sedimentary facies, fourteen Carboniferous sections in the Juijiang-Ruichang districts(Jiangxi Province) were investigated. Based on sedimentary features and fossil assemla-ges, following developments on the Carboniferous in this area have been obstained. 1.First discovery of the Eoparafusulina (Fusulinida) proves the existence of Late-Carboniferous Maping age strata(Chuanshan formation) . 2.The discovery of conodont assemblages Idiognathoides sinuatus-Idio-gnathodus delicatus and Fusulinida Verella cf. Prolixa, Ozawainella pseu-dorhomboidalis in the Dolomite member of Huanglong formation prove that this Suit of dolomite strata belongs to Early Weining age of the Late-Carboniferous, corresponding to those of H-R zones of Upper Namurian in West Europe or Morrowan-Atokan of the Lower Pennsylvanian in North America. 3. A suit of clastic rock strata underlying the Dolomite member of Huangong formation and unconformably overlying Xikeng formation of the Upper Silurian mainly consists of coarse-grained pebbly sandstone, sandstone dolomite sandstone and containing sandy dolomite interla-yers in the upper part of the suit.The clastic rock strata were considered as corresponding to the Wutong formation in Zhejiang province and also named Wutong formation, assumed to belong to the Late Devonian by predecessors, but- without fossil evidence. Because of their pausity of fossil, there is always controversy of the age of strata. Having dealt with sedimentary attributes, such as structure, texture, bedding types of lithologic units and its contact relationship, authors fix the depositional site for this suit of strata as a shoreline depositi-onal system and as successive sediments, transitional to overlying dolomite strata. The sequience of logic thus leads to postulate that the age of the suit of clastic rock strata belongs to the biginning of Late-Carboniferous Weining Age, and named Clastic rock member of Huanglong f ormairon.
