| Abstract: | A method is described for the determination of butyhin species in sediments. The butyltin specieswere extracted from sediments with mixed solvent of benzene - hexane (2 : l ) after digesting with acetic acidunder the sonication, then converted into volatile butyltin hydrides with solution of sodium tetrahydroborate.Butyltin hydrides were measured by gas chromatography with flame photometric detector. The detection lim-its were 4 - 10 ng tin per gram of sediment. |
