| Abstract: | This paper reviews recent studies conducted in the first-named author's laboratory dealing with selection of filters for temperatures up to 1000°C and pressures of 20 bar. Quartz glass filters improved with alumina-silicates provide adequate stability for extreme conditions. Various conditions for this medium are discussed and test results are presented. |
