Abstract:In this study,the Bremner method was used to measure soil organic nitrogen(N)components and to clarify the characteristics of soil organic N components with five typical vegetation restoration stages(bare land,Pinus massoniana plantations restored for 7,17,23 and 35 ages)in Changting County,Fujian Province.The results showed that,compared with the bare land,soil total N content in the vegetation restoration stage for 7,17,23 and 35 ages increased by 2.57,3.71,4.00 and 5.57 times,respectively.The organic N existed mainly in the form of acid hydrolysable N.The acid hydrolysable N and non-acid hydrolysable N contents increased significantly with total N increasing.The contents of soil ammonium N,amino acid N,hydrolysable unidentified N increased with the recovery ages.There were significantly positive correlations among acid hydrolyzed N and ammonium N,amino acid N,hydrolysable unidentified N.The ammonium N,amino acid N,hydrolysable unidentified N and amino sugar N accounted for about 12.3%,47.2%,35.3%,5.1%of the increased acid hydrolysable N in soil,respectively.The changes of organic nitrogen composition characteristics affect the soil N supply and storage capacity.The results of this study can provide basic theory for nutrient management in the process of degraded soil restoration.
