| Abstract: | The mutual attraction between the fish Cryptocentrus cryptocentrus and the shrimp Alpheus djiboutensis has been investigated experimentally. The fish is attracted to its partner visually, the shrimp is attracted chemically. The mutual attraction is reinforced by the strong negative phototactic reaction of both partners, orienting them towards the burrow. |
