RESEARCH ON CAPABILITY AND MICROORGANISM ECOLOGY OF TREATING SUCROSE WASTEWATER BY AN ANAEROBIC BAFFLED REACTOR
Abstract:In the paper,it was studied the operating characteristics of treating sucrose wastewater in ABR and also analyzed the characteristics of microorganism ecology by EPS detection,small bottle of static test and scanning electron microscope.The results showed that when COD in influent was 1 355 mg/L to 2 955 mg/L;water temperature was 33 ℃,HRT=24 h,the removal rate of COD was stabilized at 87%~96%.The first compartment was impacted the biggest impulsion with the highest VFA value 9.33 mmol/L and lowest alkalinity 19.25mmol/L.The results of small bottle of static test showed that the COD removal rate of the first compartment was increased from 35.89% to 82.08% when the influent COD concentration was 1000mg/L,but when the influent COD concentration was 4000mg/L,the COD removal rate of the fifth compartment had a fairly increase from 21.96% to 61.72%.The first compartment and the third compartment had the largest EPS gross amount,which was 142.99 mg/g and 205.48 mg/g,respectively.The microbe in the first compartment and the second compartment were mainly bacillus,the monococcus and the multicoccus were discovered in the fifth compartment.There was a good distribution of microbial population in different compartments.
