西蒙得木对金沙江干热河谷生态保护的作用

The ecological environment of Jinshajiang Dry Valleys was deteriorative.There was serious loss of water and erosion of soil.To make the ecolngical improvements of Changhiang River drainage area and protect the Three Gorge Dam,the most important thing was to build an excellent ecolngical environment of Jinshajiang Dry Valleys. The growing environment of Simmondsia Chinensis wassimilar to the ecological environment of Jinsha- jiang Dry Valleys, and Simmondsia chinensis had high economic value. So planting Simmondsia chinensis was good to improve the ecological environment of Jinshajiang Dry Valleys and to develop the local economy.
