Abstract:This paper shows that, improvement to reagent used in analyzing COD by US Haxi detector not only substitutes the expensive imported reagent but reduces the digestion time from 2h to 30min, meanwhile, the result is accurate and reliable. As this method is simple, safe and rapid, it can be popularly used for supervisory monitoring, emergency monitoring and on-the-spot analysis.
