Progress on Detection Methods of Heavy Metals in Water Environment

Heavy metals pollution is one of the most important problems of water pollution,which is threatening the living of hydrobiological species and health of human.Detection methods for heavy metals in water environment in recent years including atomic absorption spectrometry,inductively coupled plasma spectrometry,atomic fluorescence spectrometry,stripping voltammetry,enzyme inhibition method,immunoassay and biochemistry sensor method were reviewed,and their sensitivity,accuracy and scope of application were analyzed,and merits and disadvantages of different methods were compared as well.
