Analysis of Fatigue Fracture Causes of High-speed Rail Fasteners

Through numerical simulation and theoretical research and analysis on the fracture of 60Si2Mn elastic strip in WJ-7 type fasteners during the test,the main reason for the fracture of the elastic strip is determined.Through the analysis of the force of the 60Si2Mn spring bar,it can be seen that the stress concentration of WJ-7 type fasteners is the largest in the bend in the contact area between the iron backing plate and the back end of the spring bar,which is one of the main reasons for the fracture and damage of the spring bar.The root cause of the strip fracture is that the elastic strip is working under the ultimate strength for a long time,which makes the elastic strip finally fatigued and damaged.After testing and simulation analysis,the reason for the fracture of 60Si2MnA elastic strip and the location that should be paid attention to during installation and use are obtained.
