Transformation of progesterone by marine bacteria |

| Abstract: | The progesterone transforming ability of marine bacteria has been determined. 20 of the 53 marine cultures tested were found capable of transforming progesterone to 6 -hydroxyprogesterone and/or to 11,17 -dihydroxyprogesterone. |
