Abstract: | Active systems of explosion suppression are commonly used in many industrial facilities. Suppression efficiency of these systems depends on many factors: type of extinguishing material, triggering pressure, geometry of protected area etc. The objective of the study is to simulate the process of dust–air explosion suppression with water as an extinguishing material. The main aim of the presented computations was to investigate the influence of the water droplets diameter on suppression efficiency. |
