Naturwissenschaft und Ethik als paradoxe Schöpfungen der Vernunft

The contradictory relation between Western science und ethics is attributable to the paradoxical nature of human reason. For the fundamental, intuitive (or Kantian a priori) concepts, thanks to which we construct reality from experience, turn out to be, au fond, mutually inconsistent. By contrast, the Far-Eastern world-view seeks to repress reason and thus avoid its troublesome paradoxes.
