| Abstract: | The paper reviews the progress of techniques for sediment pollution control within eutrophic lakes in China. From aspects of effectiveness, environmental impacts, social impacts, costs, applicability, and relativity with other techniques, five techniques are assessed comprehensively and systematically, which include destratification, aeration, chemical method of oxygen supply, dredging, and sediment sealing (phosphorus inactivation). |
