Abstract:Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) are the obstinate and widespread pollutants in the environment, which have the cancerogenic hazard to humankind. The transformation of microorganism plays an important role in the degradation and fating of PAHs. There are various ways for degradation of PAHs. The advance in research of molecular genetics for PAHs degradation was summarized in this paper.
