| Abstract: | Offset structural features of the Huaihe Tectonic Deformation Zone distributed along the main stream of the Huaihe River are described, the relation between the moderate earthquakes and fault structures in the tectonic deformation zone is analysed and seismogeologic indices for the occurrence of moderate earthquakes are suggested, taking the results of an analysis of the geophysical data of the Huaihe River valley into account. |
